This task reminds me of the celebrity apprentice where two teams, men vs. women, had to raise money for a charity using a restaurant business idea. The men were hounded for having a menu that excluded certain income groups and focused on high price points with menu items ranging around $ 100. The women were adorned for their creativity and sold to the most customers, but had a menu with average price points. In the end, the men had won because the main objective was the team who had the highest dollars in sales wins.

I've had a lot of moments in the past where I've created something, put it out there, had people buy it and I say "they must have liked this". I ask them and it turns out they liked something I never even paid attention to or I thought was so unimportant to me, but somehow that's what they got out of it and they liked it enough to buy into it.
So yes my advice is you could have asked. Just 12 people. I say that as advice to make the task of building a new product more fun for you, and not something that becomes a drag you know? I know how it feels from your point of view when you're doing something simply because you're game to do it, but you still want to be able to enjoy the process. Asking 12 people is a lot less pain than observing dozens imo.
And the most effective way to observe people's true intent on the internet is through tracking their scrolling, eye movement, clicks on the page and time spent on the page. Analytics basically. Which you don't have. no one on either team has on this site has that available to them.
so you would have been under-equipped on the observation front anyway, and that would mean more of your energy and time invested in an approach that is less effective.
That's my take on it, but it's just to suggest where these tasks can stay fun for you when you're the one putting the most effort into it.

I signed up honestly because I was envious of seeing people getting custom cards. I wasn't a big fan of the cards designs themselves but I liked the custom titles under the pictures like Impulsv's ... I forgot what it was but it was funny, so I got envious and signed up because I wanted one lol but then I got some Gemitati thing and i regret ever being a customer to your business j/k
To be honest, I felt I had pushed to the limit of what I could do with regards to this game because I was limited in my equipment. It's kinda why I couldn't answer DickButt on how I could combat the two losses as PM. I knew I'd be out if we lost because it was either me or UVD. So I had thought about answering and just voting myself out.
I was about 2 tasks in before I realized that this game was a marketing based game, even though I did know of the show and roughly what it was about. 😛 I just wanted to support someone in this first DXP game of its kind launch. 🙂 Same with BBDXP whenever it's taking place, even though I know very little about the show. 🙂

FINAL TASK
For the final task there will be 3 different things that each of the final three will need to accomplish. All 3 things will be graded separately and then added into one final grade from each judge. Those grades will then be added up and averaged out for the average score for each individual.
For each of these YOU MUST PM ME THEM WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED. DO NOT POST THEM ON THE THREAD/BOARDS. I will be posting all of these head to head. If you PM me something late you will lose massive amounts of points.
1.
For the first part of this task you must create something that represents you or your DXP Persona. It can be a picture, photography, video, song, writing, drawing or ANYTHING you can think of. However it must be made by you. If it is a picture(s) it must be taken yourself or photo shopped. It cannot be found online. To be DXP Apprentice you must be able to clearly get across who you are/your DXP persona in a unique way.
This will be graded on:
-Creativity
-Uniqueness
-The most important thing will be How clear and well whatever you do conveys you or your DXP Persona

For this vocaroo it must be like a mini infomercial about yourself and selling yourself as the DXP Apprentice for whatever reasons you can come up with. Much like the vocaroo ad challenge we did you can so whatever and add whichever sound effect and/or music that you want.
This will be graded on:
-If the vocaroo/audio recording is between 3 and 5 minutes
-The creativity in it
-How well you promote/sell yourself in the video
-The entertainment of it

For the last part of this challenge, you need to think of yourself as an item. Yes that is right, if you were an item, what would you be? This item must be something you can sell to DXPers.
For this you must state the item/product and give it a name. You must then write why this item is useful and sell this item with either a picture or something like a pamphlet or even a video or audio.
This will be graded on:
-How well the item actually fits your personality
-The creativity of the item/how you sell it
-How well you sell it
-Entertainment
Task end tomorrow at 7:00 PM EST
For the final task there will be 3 different things that each of the final three will need to accomplish. All 3 things will be graded separately and then added into one final grade from each judge. Those grades will then be added up and averaged out for the average score for each individual.
For each of these YOU MUST PM ME THEM WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED. DO NOT POST THEM ON THE THREAD/BOARDS. I will be posting all of these head to head. If you PM me something late you will lose massive amounts of points.

For the first part of this task you must create something that represents you or your DXP Persona. It can be a picture, photography, video, song, writing, drawing or ANYTHING you can think of. However it must be made by you. If it is a picture(s) it must be taken yourself or photo shopped. It cannot be found online. To be DXP Apprentice you must be able to clearly get across who you are/your DXP persona in a unique way.
This will be graded on:
-Creativity
-Uniqueness
-The most important thing will be How clear and well whatever you do conveys you or your DXP Persona
