Help understanding Gemini man

Hi All. Need a little help figuring out if I should move on or stay and wait for Gemini man. Met a year ago, he’s been going through some health issues and family issues so I’ve been super patient. I’m at the point where I’ve had enough of this situationship, but a small part of me still wants to hang on. We see each other every 3-4 months. Claims he’s always super busy and that he’s not seeing anyone else. He “wishes he could give me what I need but simply can’t.” He reaches out to me via text sometimes consecutively other times every 3-4 days. I never complain about this. I just don’t know if I should continue to be there in the background whenever he reaches out or just delete my WhatsApp and let him think I’m ignoring him. Btw I’m not needy or clingy.

I’ve just made him aware of what I want in a calm way. Very cool and collected. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Me: Pisces sun, Aquarius moon, Gemini rising

If you are sure he is being lazy to take a definitive action or being evasive (natural trait of Geminis), then you need to give him a dosage of motivation to give both of you a clear direction of progress. Perhaps a threat to dump him or something like that.

But you need to be certain this is the Right Way for both of you and someone from his family is not getting hurt or treated unjustly as a consequence because if that's the case, then it's better to move on and go separate ways.
