do geminis feel or only appear hot and cold
Gemini moon here. I constantly flip flop my emotions. However, the 8th house makes me believe fully that how im feeling is passionate and deep.
In my experience as a Gemini sun, I'm never comfortable even if the woman I'm with is great. We over think a lot so it keeps us on edge and hot and cold is a natural thing. We never know for sure so I try to stay present when in a moment with someone.

In my experience I think it's when it's wrong person and or wrong timing ... either way it's just wrong for them, hence the back and forth so just best to move it along.
If I'm interested and I know you are also I'm pretty obvious about it.
When I am unsure though I can be hot and cold.. if I feel like I'm doing too much then I'll be hot and cold. Just depends really...
I think it's safe to say with all Gems, if we want something we try our best to get it. Kind of go into things head first but we need to really want it.

I've been seeing a gem with cancer moon and he is flip floppy as hell. Do you do this because you are unsure? I just do my own stuff and pretend I don't notice it...
I'm a gemini moon and I get cold/distant when I feel like I'm stuck in a rot, I crave change and learning new things. Boredom = death to me. I'm scorpio dominant, so I'm very loyal still, but if I get bored I eventually drift away and bounce. I've also noticed myself get cold with guys who are more emotional than me, like I'm super emotional as it is (on top of all my scorpio placements, my gemini is in the 8th house too so...) and I need the guy I'm dating to be stronger and tougher for me. If I realise I'm dating a cry baby I get super awkward about it and drift away.
With friends I'm not flighty at all though, I'm basically the glue that keeps my friend group together lol.

He ended it after 2 years, two weeks after he tried to re-schedule a date and couldn't reach me by phone. He said that our relationship has lost momentum, that I did not do enough things together with him and that he had enough of my relationship with an old friend and colleague (another Pisces).
Oh, forgot to mention that I was in love with another man (my Aqua ex) during the first months of our relationship 😄

I agree. However, he did appreciate my friendship and still does. We liked each other as well...he said that I was nothing but lovely. I think he needs someone who uses and abuses him (like his previous Leo wife or the mad Aqua he dated afterwards, not a friend...

I have gem in moon, Venus, and Jupiter, and I wouldn't even call it hot/cold. I can understand that this is how it comes off to others, but to the gem it is simply what is and isn't interesting. And what can be interesting in one moment, can be a total bore in the next. I guess what I'm trying to say is that coming off as cold isn't intended.
Speaking for myself, what I feel is mostly superficial until I can analyze the emotion and process it. However this might take time I am not willing to spend. If that is the case, I will move on to the next thing. But if the feeling is allowed to be processed, and felt deeper down, it is very real, and very strong. If the feeling is positive and exciting, I will crave more of it. But if it's hurtful and negative, I won't want to play anymore, let alone take it seriously.
My cancer sun allows me to take in and process emotion a little easier and more efficiently, but gem energy is so influential in my chart, that trying to process a constant flux of emotion can be overwhelming, and I look for the nearest escape route.

Gemini moon here. I usually appear hot and cold yes. And I've experienced the same with other two close friends that have the moon in gemini. But the three of us are very affectionate and giving. When we like something or someone it's for life and I'm never hot and cold. But our focus can change quickly, so I understand if from the outside others might see us as hot and cold. It's not, it's just that we have a short attention span.
As for gemini suns, I really don't get them. They always seem so superficial to me. So emotionless. I have two good friends gemini and to my eyes it's like there's nothing underneath their expressions. They both have a very good poker face. You can never tell what they are thinking. But they aren't hot and cold, they are just plain, cagey and smiley. But I love both of them. I just wait for their actions to speak louder than their expressions.

She is Scorpio with Cap moon. He tried to be, but she never appreciated him as much as he wanted. He once cut contact with her for one year when he believed that she loved her elder son (another Scorpio) more than him!
I thought that the fact that I was "nothing like her" (in his own words) was a good omen, but I was wrong.
