Gems -- the BEST sign!

I just had to share the following....

I have been going through a rough time recently, and today my Gem boss said something critical at the wrong time.

I told him "Bad timing" and to his credit, he said in a very gentle voice "Now you know that I did not criticise you." (He did, but that's beside the point). He then went out of his way to make it up to me, and told me I could call him at any time if I had any problems at work.

He knows I lost a parent recently -- perhaps he thinks I'm crazy because he is more repressed in his emotions than me (a Scorpio) -- but I thought that was pretty darn nice of him.

A good sign!

I must say, the first thing i thought reading your post Eagle was make sure you verbally recognize him. Appreciation GemGal nailed I think. Simple verbal is worth more than any "material" item. Sorry to hear of your loss.
