What's up with Gemini and texting?

I recently met a Gemini Sun, Scorpio Moon - He stops texting mid- conversation and texts back 10 to twenty minutes later. I HATE THAT! I told him "Sweetie, I can't tell a man what to do, but I would like to request that when you text you give me please give me your complete undivided attention, and if you can't do that I would rather just talk on the phone." So do you think he's mad? Anybody else hates texting between gaps of silence? How rude.

I am not interested in learning how to survive without a man giving me the same undivided attention I give him. I am not interested at all in learning how to cope with his texting idiosyncrasies, I think it's rude and I will continue our communication via the phone.

I would tell you to get a new partner to text then. The point of texting is to respond when the availability arises. Texting is also there so people can multi task and not have to give 100% of their time and efforts talking. There are more important things than desiring someone's attention, by the way. If this was me, that would have been a huge turn off. Just saying.

That is what texting means to you! When did you become the texting legislator? Texting for me and my friends is a way to communicate a thought or a point and if we can't finish the thoughts we tell the other we will finish the conversation later. Sorry if you don't have friends on that caliber And who are you to legislate my morality? There are other things things than desiring someone's attention. Thank you for pointing out the obvious! I am equally turned off by your rude, demeaning, pompous post.

But thanks for your contribution you helped me solve the real issue. The real issues is I despise water placement moons. In fact I hate most of the Scorpio moons I have met instantly. Thanks for that. I think I am going to let this one go.

You are absolutely right, but I don't think the real issue is the texting. I really don't care for the water signs in intimate relationships! In fact I despise water moons especially Scorpio moons. I have a fixed moon and I have made up my mind; I will cut this guy off, and never look back.

Yeah you gotta learn to let that's go. Gem with Scorp loon with drive you insane! Everytime they sense you leaving they pop right back up giving you little reminders that they are there! Very hard to quit so don't get attached because everything will be on his terms. And don't let him have a Cancer Venus and Mars. I will say this in the beginning we talked non stop like 8 hours straight and he would always initiate conversation. Now he just pops up ever other day just to torture me because he knows how I feel lol.

The two reasons:

He is busy
Or
He was not totally interested/engaged in the conversation.

Yes they will want to keep in contact constantly.

Sounds like mine... Always demanding me to facetime, And when I don't answer her calls she's like: "you're cheating on me" and I'm like uhm... "I was preparing dinner/eating/in the bathroom/sleeping..." But when I ask her what's she's doing, boy oh boy, she acts as though I'm the Spanish Inquisition. Usually takes me about half an hour to get somewhat of an answer if I ever get one.

Gotta give people room to breathe. Don't take it personal. Probably has more to do with the fact that he is a man than with the fact that he's a Gemini...but when you put those two together, it makes for a short attention span. That or you annoyed him.

Is this texting occurring during his 9-5? If he's at work and still responding, that's impressive imo.

If it really bothers you perhaps mirror his behavior. Or text back a time that your free so that he can call you.

I personally prefer to talk on the phone anyways, easier on the hands.

lol @littlemegabyte I felt it too. And in my head I'm like thank goodness I don't have time to deal with such. imagine how the guy is feeling. .. I was going to run for the hills after receiving that text change my numbers even block to make sure I never encounter such. Probably hate texting for a month until I get over the ordeal. .. kikikikikikikiki

not gonna lie, I'm good for texting back hours later...sometimes I mean to text back but I get distracted doing something else and just simply forget to. nothing personal.

Personally I don't have the patience to sit around texting all day. Nor would I want to have to be at someone's beck and call like that. If you are so hung up and obsessed with having someone's attention on you that 10 minutes can't go by without me entertaining you, you aren't the person for me.

Word! and that goes for friends as well. If I gotta prove my loyalty to you by talking/texting you everyday then we can't be friends. you will hate me lol...but if we can go weeks/months without talking (since we are adults, living life, working, etc) and we can link back up with no problem, then I fux witcha!

Ok so the whole point of texting is you can do it in between other stuff and it's not like speaking on the phone.

This kind of intense clingy Scorpio stuff is really off putting. Gemini moon here and if you want my undivided attention while we aren't even in the same room... well that's a shame for you. Loosen the grip dude

You seem to be very impatient. I'm a Gemini with a Scorpio Moon, I typically respond very fast to someone I'm invest with. However, if I'm busy or distracted I will take a little longer.

If you hate Scorpio moon so much why are you on this site asking about someone that your interested with it?

Look I get that you what his attention. But 10-20 mins isn't rude at all. Him not messaging for hours or days is pretty rude. Which would tell me he isn't interested.

You need to be more considerate of people and not expect them to be staring at their phone waiting to text you back within seconds of receiving a text from you.
