why must you try to outsmart me?

is it just me or is it normal that when you are making a point and someone just has to over go it, that you go into super gemini mode and have to shut them down as fast as possible, i had it happen to me tonight. i get competitive and have to make it seen that i know what im talking about

Most people know what they mean when they are talking ... not just Geminis, so it's not about knowing what you are talking about.

Even the crazy dude sitting on the corner, having an arguement with the ant over who gets to take a shower first with the strawberry jelly ... actually 'knows' what he's talking about.


This is about wanting to be right ... that is what you need to address if this bothers you.

I hate to have to say this. But, Geminis are usually right. It's so true it pisses people off. I've learned patience thought and realize that if you give most people time (if your are righteous and strong in your knowledge), they absolutely always come around. But, if I have to lose my temper then I'm the one that's actually losing. I don't play that game. I say my piece and then I bounce. They always, always come back.

A problem with Geminis is that they want to be allowed to be free spirits, while not allowing other people the same freedom.

With this condition, they also encounter the issue you face at this time .... you cannot allow this other person the freedom you demand for yourself .. so you're left with no other option except to have a desire of shutting them down, as you called it.

You're not alone ... all of your fellow Geminis also struggle with being the epitome of double standards, and they too are finding themselves in a constant battle of having to be right.

And of course, during this battle they are in because the other is absolutely forbidden to be a free spirit, the Gemini claims to be a cool cumcumber and merely being forced into battle with the other because the other is obviously jealous of their intelligence and the Gemini has convinced himself that this is why the other refuses to bow in their presence.

na, lol, i just dont like that when i made a valid point, the opposite person has to try to keep the debate going, by saying something completely stupid. i hate when they do that and it has not one valid point at all.

i agree with wiseoldowl too, i dont have a problem having someone state their opionions. there are more than just one way to get to the same place, lol, but my problem is when the person just shoots off their mouth with no thought behind it at all, and expects me to take it and shut up.

yeah i noticed that. i have a scorpio friend that has a gemini moon, and i like talking to her, just i hate one thing she does and she does it so often is shell say something like "oh i dont like him, hes not cute to me", and ill be like "yeah he is, your funny". and just like that she says he is. she does it all the time, and it bugs me

Been reading some of your insights. I believe that no one is always right. Which is why everyone needs to listen. But if a person says something logically and you can't say something otherwise to prove that it's wrong, then why would you say it's a double standard?

If you can come up with a proof that what a Gemini says is wrong, then say it. But don't say that all Geminis are wrong just because you say they want to be right. Because usually, we don't say anything unless we have thought of all possible things that can go wrong with our logic.

Everyone has a different learning curve and I respect my friends who takes a while learning from their mistakes. But if a friend is taking 10 years to learn from it (I blew up in a big way), what should I do to teach a person who obviously doesn't want to listen because this friend (a Taurus) thinks she's always right?
