Let's put it this way. Calling someone fat is not giving them a compliment. It is derogatory and a word that fat people are trying to reclaim.

For myself: anything higher than 15% body fat makes me feel uncomfortable.
For others: anything that starts making a lot of body movements difficult.
Would never say it allows any conclusions on the persons personality given how many things can cause it.

I don't even know what the definition is anymore.
I've been called fat when I wasn't fat and when I was.
There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason but a word to make someone feel bad about themselves.
