Cancer or Virgo for relationships?

I have a very attractive Leo guy friend who is looking for a girlfriend and I had introduced him to my group of girl friends which are: Another Leo, a Virgo, a cancer, and a Capricorn.

He's been deciding between the Virgo and the cancer as he thinks the Leo is too much like himself (I lol'd at the irony) and the Cappy is too bossy.

Both my Virgo and cancer friends are gorgeous and they each seem to get along great with him and vice Versa.

What do you (Leo male or female) think is best for him? Or for Leo's in general between the two?

And I'm not exactly sure what has happened between then and last time we were all together, maybe a change of heart? But the Leo seems to be more open towards the Virgo, playful ¿ trying to get her out of her shell.

I feel like it's cute but I see a friendly playfulness myself but it's very vague bc it could be taken as light flirting as Leo's do flirt A LOT with everyone.

He and the cancer are also getting along well, but he doesn't have to put as much as work as trying to get to know her because she is generally pretty open from the start. I feel like she has many other water placements though as she can sometimes get very emotionally invested, but again, I'll have to check for sure. He had a glimpse of her crabby mood last night and I think it kinda pulled the rug from under him.

But (and I know it's wrong as they are both my friends) I am secretly rooting for the Virgo as she has an inner sweetness to her that I can just see can push through to the Leo eventually.

I recently came down with a pretty bad cold and while the crab told me wonderful words and gave me hugs (which I DO appreciate), the Virgo came to my apartment and stayed with me and even baked me some cookies, bless her heart.

Haha maybe I'm biased from that but I'm not a Leo myself so maybe that would seem too yucky-sweet for him?

I was with a Leo man and it was great. Couldn't keep hands off each other and we did a lot of adventurous things plus we traveled a lot together. I think a Leo could deal with some crazy virgo tendencies.

Personally I've found that Virgos work best when there is no concern about labels and they are able to take their time and observe both up close and from afar. Since things are light and playful, the flirtation remains easy.

The only question is, how serious does he want to get. Once he's ready cranks up the heat, the Virgo may not be ready yet, wanting to analyze the situation longer. This will probably throw the Leo off (and ultimately turn him off if he doesn't feel there is an end goal).

That's where the openness of the Cancer woman wins out. As long as the Leo doesn't make the mistake of making the Cancer woman feel spurned (by choosing the Virgo too quickly), he may find her more willing to reciprocate his advances.

Not necessarily. Moon placements translate different than sun placements. To Leo Suns can be a clash of egos. A fiery or watery Leo would probably be more your speed energetically and emotionally (or a Leo who understood Cancers would also work well). You may find it difficult to connect with an airy Leo. He'll be able to turn you on intellectually, but not create the deep passionate connection a Cance/Leo person like yourself may crave. An earthy Leo could also handle you, but you may find them frustrating to understand.

Yes I can see a dynamic happening where the Virgo is the best friend he has that may have been "the one that got away" scenario and he eventually gets with the cancer.

He and the cancer seem more alike, I think. Both are somewhat outgoing (whereas the Virgo is more shy or should I say less eager to open up about herself than the cancer).

My Leo friend told me he just finds the Virgal "fascinating", she is different where the crab is the same. He thinks the cancer reminds him of a slightly softer version of his ex who was a Leo (that didn't last lol).

Which would you prefer personally? (I'm guessing cancer based on the analysis)

Sounds about right. I personally always go for the woman who is more straight forward or who exhibits more self confidence, so really it could go either way. I have a lot of Virgo friends and they all seem to need a partner who will essentially wrangle their emotions because they tend to be more hesistant in love. They are completely comfortable hanging out and being buddies, but they can be VERY cautious beyond that point. This slow down may confuse the Leo later on if he's looking for something more romantic.

Romantically, the Cancer woman clearly vibes with him better and is probably more affectionate too. Right now the Leo is attracted to the Virgo woman's mystique. She seems like a challenge to him, which currently has his attention. If the Cancer woman is being more direct, I'd personally swing her direction. I'm also not very emotional, so I would seek out a partner who could balance me out. That being said, she needs to be careful not to over emote (or get too crabby too early). This could make her seem too high maintenance and scare the Leo away.

I'm experienced enough to know that "mystique" usually is just a facade. The illusion can be more attractive than the person themselves. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh we aren't together anymore haha (we actually haven't been together for a little while). We're still very good friends and every time I speak to him I remember why I fell in love w/ him in the first place and I have no bad things to say about him BUT it's time for me to move on.

Virgo and cancer both border Leo but I feel like Virgos are great with Leo's for friendships like we're best friends (and as @chuckcem said we're great drinking buddies ??) ummm but I think cancer being more emotional and all that captures a Leo's heart more. And I feel like the Decan your Leo belongs to is important too.

Not saying the Virgo couldn't work w/ the Leo but I feel like he would have to wait for her to open up too and idk if he's up for that. Also what you see is what you get with crabs so she'll be pretty transparent to him. No guessing games

I recently came down with a pretty bad cold and while the crab told me wonderful words and gave me hugs (which I DO appreciate), the Virgo came to my apartment and stayed with me and even baked me some cookies, bless her heart.

Haha maybe I'm biased from that but I'm not a Leo myself so maybe that would seem too yucky-sweet for him?

Seeing the dynamics between each of them is really cool though! I just don't want anyone to get hurt in the long run 😢

Oh no, a Leo would just take the "yucky-sweet" stuff for granted like loyalty. I too think the Virgo has a better chance since Virgos serve others to get a sense of importance and recognition, and in a negative form it becomes nagging like a smart student to a stupid one. Leos would hate to be wrong hence arguments might break out from there.

That's the negative side. On the positive side, since the Virgo serves, and the Leo takes the serving for granted, so ideally it works out. It would work out even better if the Leo's a mastermind of something and Virgo's the right hand man or henchman though 😛

For the Cancer, they will both want to lead eventually (Cancer is cardinal while Leo just wants to lead cuz royalty), fights are likely to break out, and since Cancer belongs to the Water element, the Leo risks his self esteem and optimism being drowned out by pessimistic Water.

If it doesn't work out I have a Scorpio that I would love to introduce to the Virgal. I think they'd be wonderful together.

It was. He ended up breaking my heart it was always on at first but as soon as he realized he had me he made me feel so invisible and I felt taken advantage of. He was also very controlling which I didn't realize because I was blinded by the love I felt for him. He also didn't make me a priority and didn't consider me when making choices after he clearly stated we were a team. In the end it was him moving to a different country that did it after countless of times of pushing me into the idea of being with him long term. He gave up on long distance in two weeks said it was futile. I'll never forget that word he used. Then he tried to be my friend seven months later and I just wasn't having it he was reminiscent about the times we shared and I just couldn't deal getting attached again. He was my first love so it made it all that much worse and he was five years older than I was. I don't regret it because I learned a lot but it was hell at first going thru the break up. We were just so attached like best friends.
