Do Leos have a very violent temper?

Yes, but it's rarely shown. Leos fear our own tempers the most. We are typically positive people after all. The worst you'll normally see is the "loud and obnoxious" angry Leo stereotype that everyone complains about. The whole "bark louder than our bite" situation. As a result people often hear the bark, but rarely experience the bite.

Any sign can have a violent temper. If you're worried about a specific leo my advice is to trust your gut instincts, if he/she seems violent cut them out of your life.

I don't get violent but I sure do know how to tare someone apart emotionally.

I don't have a temper but I get really really frustrated and I'll snap then I'll start crying because I'm so frustrated and emotions is not my thing.

I don't think Leo's have a temper it's just some don't know how to handle emotions when they come up.

Leo's have a beautiful soul... If they become violent it means you have backed them into a corner so bad that the mighty lion has to take over.

Oh come on people, since Leos are known for being the most arrogant and narcissistic sign of the zodiac. You don't think that would equate with violence and also in my lifetime I've seen quite a few Leos show a fierce temper that would eventually lead to violence.

My Leo friends are emotional. Some I would say are "touchy" but not all. You just have to watch what you say around them.

my husband's two cousins, are Scorpio sun, Leo mars, they are both strong in athleticism and are professional athletes. One is more in the big leagues the other more a wife and mother, and she married a more timid kind fatherly kind of husband who is a stay at home father,husband to help his wife and children.

i know they're not sun but Leo in the mars sign, could be strong and want to be fiery and strong and do something. they're both really great people. very happy being energetic and outgoing and athletic.

Leo men can depending on overall type of person they are or environment they where raised in. I have met quite a few Leo's or fire signs period that will throw down in a heart beat. The Leo's where almost always over dumb shit where they had to one up you or you hurt there ego.

Yes I have a temper... If you piss me off! and at that moment in time, you are a scumbag POS.. and if you're not mad, you WILL be after I get done rambling. If you show no emotion or care....the flame builds. That's relationship wise.. Now if a b**** wants to try me, the claws come out instantly and you will be crying after.

I am a leo. I have a very complicated nature. I would lie saying that I am all the time cool and calm but no matter what my temper is not violent. I am known for being cheerful and most steady person my friends and co-workers know. Maybe there are full of violence Leos but I'm not one of them. Certain is that when we get mad about something just leave us alone. Don't calm us down. We love this kind of drama. Let us feel for a moment like a movie star and let us panic a little. We will (saying from my point of view) caln down sooner than you think. But don't ignore us because we will try to find another way to grab your attention and show you how we suffer or angry are.
