I can't speak for all Leos, but I'm a sucker for the most expensive price. That could be because I have sun in 2nd house though.

I don't think I know any cheap Leos. Frugal, sometimes, but the focus in on quality so they have nice things even if their budget is tight. Also, a lot of Leos I know have practical and creative skills that help them create what they want sometimes. Carpentry skills, for example.

not only capricorns...cancer too. Cancer/Cap axis, even if you google lots on cancer energies, cancer man especially, they are known to be "tight" or rather, SAVERS of money.
so if he's got cancer venus, cancer mars, cancer moon, you can bet he is not a spendthrift.
i'll give you an example of the Leo sun who is staying with us on vacation,
he has Cancer Venus, Taurus moon. Leo mars.
I don't think it's his Leo sun or Leo mars...
but his Cancer venus and Taurus moon is FRUGAL.
he got a plane ticket looking out for cheaper deals online, and found something a city away, 2 - 3 hours away and his parents drove him there so he doesn't have to take a charter plane or drive there himself because parking is expensive..
so he flew from THAT city because the city is bigger, and therefore if the city is bigger, you can have MORE chances of flights that are cheaper...and his parents drove him so he doesn't have to waste the gas.
this is a 30 plus young man. Not an 18 year old or 20 year old. ( teens normally get super cheap student flights where they lay over 3 lay overs, 36 hour LONG ass flights)
and this guy got a long layover, lol
and then when we all go out on groups, with my other family members and friends, he will dutch it of course, but PREFERS to eat at home to save money. lol
this is FRUGAL. 😄 not kidding here..

two signs away, and Mars can be anywhere.
But Mercury can't be further than 30° away from the Sun.
That was my understanding--
The Mountain Astrologer says this:
Mercury is never more than 28° from the Sun,
and Venus never more than 48° .
Then again, it could all be bunk... but those are the 'rules.'

If it didn't (and I have tried it more than once), it

I hear you but I think Leos (especially the younger ones) rarely bother compromising unless they have to. While other signs are more selective, when to comes to this mindset, I find Leos apply this belief across the board.
Also, just because something is more expensive or prestigious, doesn't necessarily mean it's better (quality-wise) than the cheaper alternatives. Sometimes, trial and error is required, but I don't think many Leos have the patience for that (or are too fixed to step outside their mindframe).

When I was 30 I wanted to go on a cruise but didn't want a tiny stateroom. I booked a penthouse suite year early, found another Leo coworker to go with me, and we paid $ 600 a month until the cruise date. I wouldn't have had it any other way, and I had the money to do it. It was an awesome room and a great cruise. Go big or go home.
I don't have that much disposable income anymore, so don't spend money like that anymore. But if my financial situation changes, yep, Imma do it again.
