I'm not a Leo, I'm a Scorpio.
I was his best. I'm sure haha. He even told me I was his best.
However, when it was bad, it was horrid. During the low points, it was the worst.
He had a Cancer Venus and I have a Scorpio Venus, so that helped a bit I guess.

Cancer- the only issue I tend to have is the emotions and clingynes but they go hand in hand with a leo.
Honestly I think the Leo-Cancer pairing works best when it's a Leo man and Cancer woman.

Good question. I dated her long before I got into astrology. The breakup wasn't good (explosive really), so I cut all connection with her many years ago and can't remember her birthday. I am curious to know her placements.

Her moon is either Taurus or Gemini, it's on the cusp that day and I don't know her exact birth time. I suspect it's Taurus moon due to her laid-back and non-friendly demeanor. I expect Gemini moons to be way more friendly with as many people as possible, and to be more wild and energetic, but I'm not totally sure.
I'm kinda hoping it's a Taurus moon, as I have a tendency to get jealous, which doesn't mix well with the openness and friendliness of air placements lol.
My best relationships have been with another leo, libra, and virgo. Cancer and Pisces men are too weak for me.
Leo Sun, Female. Best relationship was with a Sagittarius. He was a man's man, attentive, responsible, ambitious, intelligent, sensual and attractive, but loved attention from women.
Aries: we had fun together, but selfish, stubborn, made poor decisions, not nearly as intelligent as the Sag, ambitious, reckless, ladies man too.
Virgo: couldn't keep a job, didn't have a car (40 yrs old), never paid his rent on time, pitied himself, not very ambitious or motivated, always sad and very depressing, but was a nice guy and a loving father.

I've been with Scorpio, Aries, Aqua, and who knows (I wasn't into astrology).
They all have their positives. One of the Scorpios (I discovered recently) has been in and out of jail for the last 10 years; in for a year, out for a year. The other one was artistic and very caring, but he was a straight-up alcoholic. He's a ceramic artist who sells commercial computer services as his career.
One Aqua was a sweet and funny guy, we were inseparable. He was a mamma's boy and his dad was a surgeon. He dreamed of being a beach bum and is now a Nurse Practicioner in Hawaii. He and his wife just had their first baby last year (he is 46).
We know about Mr Aqua. Honestly I wouldn't say it's the "best" relationship, but it's the most real and the most satisfying on a deep level.
The Aries was awesome, best sex ever, he treated me like a princess but he also gave me my space and respected me as my own person. Unfortunately, he wasn't interested in anything serious.

I wanted to ask fellow Leos the same question. I'm a Leo female and I don't know if my demands or too much or if I haven't met the right guys yet, I've never met one guy who can give it all!!! Each person seems to be good in a few areas and seem to be pathetic in other areas!
Well, the deepest love I have felt was with a Scorpio. Deep, intense, passionate, yes, but possessive, doubtful and too much of a critic. He is extremely cautious with everything in life while I'm impulsive and fun. It didn't last but he still claims to love me for over a decade now.
With Leo men, whoa! Why are they all so quiet and shy? They all wanna impress me but won't express their likes in open, direct ways. Am I the only one with such a strange experience?
Taurus - uff! They want me to act their way? Not gonna happen with a Leo. Hahaha, at least we Leos openly express their anger, but they pretend to be indifferent and brood inside!!! Sad but still too stubborn and demanding, that's kinda annoying, but no doubting their intense love. Anyway, still not my kind.
Capricorn - better kept away! Not for outgoing, cheerful, boisterous ladies. They prefer quieter women! That fact makes me run in the opposite direction.
Gemini - Gawd! What are they made up of? One day, you mean the world to them; another day, you're nothing. The cycle repeats itself frequently. Their inconsistency is the only consistent thing about them, I guess. Make you give up and let the twins go in whichever direction they want. You'll actually be relieved after the drama. Still fun and sweet. Sometimes too cute that you can't say "no". Don't I know your manipulation tricks?

That I couldn't comment on because I've never really seen a good example of it. That's not to say that it's inaccurate, I just don't have any experience with that dynamic.
Being the "water bearer" though, Aquas getting along with water signs wouldn't surprise me.

Oh he did open up that's for sure, it was quite fascinating to watch since aquas are so aloof and cold. I have heavy leo placements so that's probably why it worked plus cancers and aquas are completely different from eachother so I'm guessing it's curiosity.. plus can/aqua learn from eachother. I have aqua in the 5th house as well so I'm Aquarius-like in relationships. (Detached, etc.) I think it depends on placements but the relationship could work if both are willing to compromise.

I only have 2 and I attract aqua dom placement men like hot cakes -____- and I AM NOT A FAN its rose colored framed type relationship i feel with time it grows harder to maintain

ya know what they come outta freaking thin air shit is weird lol nah I feel like when aquas want you they will stalk your entire life and come out of nowhere well atleast the ones that pursued me i notice aquas will kinda shapeshift or like slyly put theirselves into your lives creepy yet impressive
