Leos more sexual? Your thoughts?

Read today in an astrology book that animal signs are more overtly sexual than any other. Your thoughts on this?

I'd agree. All animals have the innate motivation to procreate, thereby fulfilling their biological existence.

On a personal note.. without any foreign chemicals and toxins in my system, I'm quite hypersexual.

It was a book by Megan Skinner I was skimming through called Idiots guide to Sextrology - just made me think on it.
Said all animal signs were overtly sexual - earth (Goat, bull and human virgin) and Fire (lion, ram and archer/centaur). Just a side bar, didn't say much.

It actually sounds like a very interesting book from the fact that it had a similar thought pattern. Is Aquarius considered an animal sign? Water bearer?

And isn't a fish an animal too? Or maybe it referred to mammals.. but Aquarius should still apply.

My mind is ceaselessly curious about anything and everything. 😢

Earth animals - Virgin was only one without hooves. But book said it was a human animal. I thought what about the twins as well.... It seemed like a good basic book. But that was just a side bar - but had lots of interesting little tidbits in the sidebars.

Good point with Gemini! Hmm, maybe it is due to that the bottom of the element do not 'touch earth' in the essence of 'air' and 'water'.

I am very sexual, basically willing to try anything and have damn near anything with the object of my affection & I want to keep going, keep going, uh huh.

I remember when I came over to a Leo's house to hangout and we we're watching tv. On HBO there was some real sex show that was on. He gave a look that u want to watch it? Haha of course I do. i'm a female leo.

i think that sex is a way for two people to bond and become closer. i was afraid of the idea of it at first, because it seems so purely animalistic and even a little frightening, to give yourself to someone else (would they be worth it?). and i was also afraid my desire, if not kept capped or locked, might be too forceful and overwhelming to my partner.

my first time was to another leo, who took it forcefully, and had little to no consideration of the pain and trauma i was going through. not that he was selfish, no, he definitely wanted to please, but he was like a machine, cold and detached. my next experience was with another leo man, who was the warmest, sweetest, lover in bed. a lot of cuddling, a lot of heat, but there is a kind of gentleness that both of us possessed. i would say that the sexual desire is there, but never with an explosiveness like maybe an aries, like a battlefield. it is always romantic, passionate, overwhelmingly so.

conclusion: high sex drives, easily getting into these moods when the situation arises, and we're never people to say "no" unless our desire has burnt out.

I was reading online the other day and they said if your venus and mars were the same that it'd be chaos, or something along the lines. Some other web page said a venus and mars in virgo would make me a sexual retard. As a leo, my pride has been hurt. Just kidding, i know i'm no retard! 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that your first wasn't 100% perfect for you. Mind if I ask - but were you actually ready to have sex, with him? It doesn't sound like it..

Your last part of the last sentence in your first paragraph sounds fantastically Virgo Mars/Venus to me.

I've had to embrace myself as a sexualized woman (not trashy - think earthly woman of bounty; natural) before I developed a healthy sex life where I made love and not, well - a man-eater of sorts.

You sound quite comfortable with yourself and your sexual self now.

For any Virgo Venus/Mars.. I highly recommend reading some of Pablo Neruda's work. Something about him definitely awakens a force of comfortable fire and freeing of self. I'm wondering his chart now - hmm. I have one of my favorite pieces of his on my profile if you're interested 🙂

It's a description that is powerful to the fluid nature of internal pleasure and external expression.

I do hope that baggage lessens over time. From experience, it becomes quieter every moment on. 🙂
