Just imagine a romantic interest of yours started to back off and retreat..still friendly but not quite the same vibe. What would be your most likely reaction? Leave them to it or pull your finger from your ass and do something about it? It's where I'm at with a Leo man (I will post our charts too). There's no pressure at all, but I can't help but feel a bit disappointed at times. We communicate well, and some me times he's like Boom and other times, more like bath!

Hmm, so what kind of behavior is he showing exactly?

Taurus Moon, Merc & Venus in Virgo... he's definitely not going to be your typical 'charge forth!' kind of Leo. Much more cautious, much more practical, likely even stronger desire for security & stability, which can be very good things to balance out the Leo Sun.

Another thing I would ask is... do you find yourself warming up and/or retreating?

-Sometimes- the behavior we see in others is rooted in the behavior we are exhibiting ourselves. I'm not super familiar with Libra beyond it being the Cardinal Air sign, but I am familiar with Sag. Libra wants balance and fairness but in the midst of weighing pros and cons it can come off as indecisiveness which I could see a Sag moon intensifying.

I cant be anything but drawn to him. Its magnetic, even when I try to be calm and friendly. Its not that I want to retreat, more that I dont want to seem pushy and forward (because thats my nature). He is definitely hesitant, and acknowledges it, so I am straight up and just remind him that you know, if he was ever to decide to seize the moment, he could without fear!!

But neither am I comfortable with the idea of waiting too long, its been like 3 months.

Since we met. Yeah I have been soooo direct, he knows I want him. He says he likes me loads and wants to take things slow. But i feel like im still just an option. I dont know, i always read too much into situations. My friends say that as soon as I meet someone i really like, i just start looking for reasons to get rid or find fault. Its just that I have been screwed over in the past, and any hint that it might happen again just sends me nuts!

Hm, what makes you feel like you're still an option?

Has he said anything about seeing other people? Has he had any disappearing acts? Has his contact lessened at all?

It's good that you've been direct, and yourself (as you said it's in your nature), having that kind of open honesty is very assuring to signs/placements that are slower to move. But there's a difference between moving slowly with intent vs. being dismissive or disrespectful.

Fear over past mistakes is one thing, and it's always good to keep your eyes open but bringing those fears or insecurities into new situations can be its own self-fulfilling prophecy.

If he seems mature and genuine and hasn't raised any real red flags, just take a deep breath and relax and give him a bit more trust. Stay open and honest about how you feel, but understand that ultimately it's your job to make yourself feel secure, it's unfair to put your fears onto someone else to fix/assuage.

If he's balanced, his main placements aren't inclined to playing games particularly if you're being open and forthright. They -do- show a deepened sense of loyalty and need for stability/security though so it's not surprising he's taking his time. He's playing for keeps, so he's being cautious and keeping his eyes open to make sure you are the person you're portraying yourself to be, just as you're trying to figure it out.

They -are- flowing at a good pace, just slower than you want. And it'll flow easier if you relax, I see that fiery moon of yours flaring up with excitement/impatience 😉

To answer your initial question, I would fall back.

Your beau has a chart similiar to mine. I have Merc and Venus in Virgo and Mars in Taurus. I hate the "where is this going" talk. I hate feeling pressured unless I really like the person. I just want things to progress naturally. I want to look up and just BE. I suspect this is different that most people. I realize other people need direction, timelines and maps.

I would hang in there. I try to live by the motto "Fools rush in".
