Okay I fell in love with an Aries man..I am a libra woman,I love him to death but why are Aries so rude,brash and always say hurtful things without thinking? We went to movies over the weekend and we got into a heated arguement and like always he says hurtful things when mad...So I gave him the silent treatment...He says that he's on the verge of calling it quits and I'm fine with that at this point..My question is how to really get him to really break it off? I've asked him is that really what he wants and I can't get an answer..Then I call so we can talk about breaking it off and he says we'll talk about later..but that never came

This is toxic behavior for any sign in a relationship, not just for aries. We just get pissed off quick and tell it to your face. I tried also the calm approach but that only made things worse to the point I can't stand her any more.

Calm approach? Aries can't do calm approach. We know it's patronizing and reeks of bitter sarcasm. Just watch some of the female rams shoot their mouth on the Libra forum. By the way, it is not toxic. You should go date a Scorpio, not a Libra.

I'd say the male Aries are more honorable than the female Aries in more ways than a zillionth. But some things just don't work out.

If you can see the bigger picture, you will know that that ram runs her mouth as she hates Libras. And there is no true resolution for this. Stop being unrealistic. If you want true balance, then go to the Aries board and talk crap to balance out their words. And you being self deprecating. Total opposite of Aries. Just don't let them run you down and bully you, because this is what amethyst is doing. Coming to the libra board to scold and speak I'll of Libras, under the guise of "some". If I may interject here. If a Libra who had an opinion and who wanted to engage the Aries board, posted, there maybe differences of opinions, but I am sure anyone would be welcome to add to the discussion.

Just because an Aries is in the room, or opening their mouth doesn't mean "it is safe to say they will make an ass of themselves" or "here comes the person about to talk only about themselves". We can be quite deliberate and put our 2 cents in when the time seems appropriate, like say a group discussion about a topic, the current OP made the topic "Aries Men are Markers".

I am an Aries with a Libra Midheaven and count on my Aries who have had experience with being in an Aries-Libra relation and the Libra folk to understand what it means to be a Libra to a Libra etc etc

Another situation on DXP is that for the case of Aries, there are misunderstandings about Aries from people who have preconceived notions about our personalities, and because as Aries we are willing to provide experience and information to clear up those misunderstandings, it can cross over to other boards at times when the topic is not specific to that sign, but happens to trash Aries as a whole.

Question I guess is, do you want to talk about Aries behind their back and exclude their input, which is your right to do, or do you want to post on DXP a topic that includes the words "Aries Men" and be reasonable that an Aries person will see that as a hot topic on the front page and see what they can add to the discussion. Mind you it is every member's right to browse topics of their choosing, Aliens, Religion, you name it.

The difference is Aries are usually more likely to speak and act in the heat of the moment than Libras are. Suppose an Aries gets angry. Chances are they will react immediately. Getting under a Libra's skin is different; either we analyze the matter to determine whether or not our feelings are valid, then speak up after thinking everything through OR we minimize the situation until the breaking point is reached and all hell breaks loose. Aries response is instant whereas Libra's tends to be gradual.

From Libra's perspective, the way Aries operates comes off as sudden and brash. Most do not hesitate before expressing themselves, no matter the scenario.
Yet on the bright side Aries are equally quick to apologize after acknowledging their error as opposed to Taurus who for example, is reluctant to admit to wrongdoing although well-aware they are at fault.
Aries is not a toxic sign in terms of intention nor otherwise, despite the notorious impulse factor.

You know the more you talk the more you reveal. If you don't want people to know about your personal history and relationships then i would suggest you look at your neighboring sign, (you know, the one that comes after your own sign, the one that is basically everything your not) and then maybe you would learn to more mysterious and secret because everytime you write about Aries women the more obvious it is that your writing about yourself. Funny that? Must be Libras indirect way of writing selfishly and about ones self without actually writing about them selves, It's just so painfully obvious. Now on a side note, this Aries women and her "gang" sounds like hell, and a complete and utter asshole. An Aries in a gang? Picking on someone? IN A GANG? AN ARIES? My god this aries person must have been pretty fucked up then. And she was a FEMALE? wow. I actually feel sorry for you. Okay Amethyst2002 I will take that into account..I have to admit that you guys are funny and hilarious because Ive never had such deep insight into an Aries man but anyway...I've never been in a relationship with someone like him..I truly have to say Aries men are different and true individuals but it seems that I he puts up a brick wall when trying to commincate. Then this is the worst part..We've been together 4 months and I have not went to his home..(dumb on my part i know)I've never in my life feel in love so fast to where I did'nt have time to think or be wise..He truly swept me off my feet, but even though I love him and am absolutely crazy about him I have to seriously let him go...My libraness won't let me...Thanks Amethyst2002...

Hello AA...I have to agree with both sides but the Libra's are right in their observation cause these are things that I notice..I have truly REALIZED that my Love for this man will not change that fact that he can be insensitive,cold and stubborn but when he's good boy it's like being with a soulmate..Yesterday was his birthday and he chose to spend it with female friends...This is where I have reached my point!

My insight into Aries are *all* mine. I claim it. I decided to dig deep after some experiences. I don't care about what anyone else thinks. I know they're true. Aries are about EGO. They're the first to knock you down if they feel theyve been threatened.

I already mentioned - the men aries are different from the women aries. I say that with impartiality, having known and loved aries people for the most part of my life. The insight is when you keep tolerating and forgiving the traits that you never stand for. Aries - they just take and take. They give only when there's something in it for them. Or they LOVE you - else, you're just being used for their ends.

I know a few nice aries women - they already have the brass ring (or think they have) - that quells their competitive streak. OR, they are butches. They look like and act like MEN. Or they've got some physical handicap - either they're obese or they got some facial deformity. Those are the kind Aries.

The Aries women who dress like sluts - or heavily made up, those are the low self-esteemers - or ego maniacs. They are users.
Something about them - they come across as a baby - in both words and actions - so this is a manipulative tool to get what they want - people think they're helpless and guileless - they're actually not - they're smarter, more opportunistic than the average person who will stoop to nothing to get what they want.

I know it. Have the guts to say it. So, Aries worshippers, sue me.

Oh, and I read amethyst's derisive and hateful words in this thread. Um, all I gotta say is that: She's very scared that Aries' bad points come to light - because if they werent true, she wont get so defensive. She's thinking - what if they ALL know? Then no libras will want be be around me anymore! She is the classic lowest class aries - using ego to think - and you can bet she'll be on her best behavior from now on - to show she did none of those things - BUT it's all an act. The aries soon comes out.

People are afraid to stand up to aries, especially libras - because we're peace loving folk- aries just charge, gather their armies and "run over". They do strength in numbers - or force-win. Aries no nothing about fair play - what is fair is that THEY get what they want.

SO, in order to battle Aries, one MUST channel Aries.

You cared for him, he cared for you.

Things happen along the way, and you don't like the outcome. You regret considering him so highly and want to stop being in the relationship. You broke things off and can process your thoughts and emotions, and now is a great time for both sides to think about what happened, and that is good.

You are also 1/2 of a relationship and sized up who was more fair, more giving, more open, more communicative etc. You said you were more giving, open, etc. I personally cannot defend either one of you, or blast either one of you because in relationships and dating everyone tries to show their partner what they think the other wants or whatever and do things out of character at times.

He should be respectful of you, and you him, but you have been offended by a lot of what he has done and you made this about his personality and character. You did your best and you can now rest from the constant back and forth between the two of you.

Honestly you have every right if you want to call him names and say he is this or that, but at the end of the day you have to judge him as a whole human and figure out if you truly care for him and not go down the path of character-assasination. I can dislike my enemy all I want, and say horrible things about him all I want, but will it get me anywhere I want to go?
