Air can be cold or hot. Have any of you experienced this? How do you temper the temperature (or is it necessary)?--trying to read and understand these variations and compatibilities.

Hmmmm....
Air can be cold or hot. Just because you don't always see it doesn't me it does not exist or it is not around. Air can be gentle or hard (stormy). Air can be heal or destroy. When I look at it through that way and then I add in other elements as well and see how they are interdependent.
Ex. AIR + WATER can equal the storm or perfect sailing weather or day at the beach. Air can freeze water and make water frigid.
Is this what you mean?

EXACTLY....if one wants to play well with others, I think it helps to know and understand this part. JMO
