Voodoo does work but it always comes with a price and doesn't work as intended especially if you are not skilled or practiced enough. I'm familiar with my own shamanistic practices and I'm not about to share my own secrets but my friend from Sennegal and he said that his mother used to squat over the cooking pot and said that her urine would keep her man from wandering so maybe you should get your sisters ass in the kitchen

Africa is not made up only by those countries you mentioned. West Africans are the ones into voodoo the most, even their movies show voodoo rituals. Other parts of Africa, not so much. In my country, South Africa, we burn the houses of people & the people using black magic. It IS frowned upon & is evil.

Africans have been using wild herbs for generations to cure ailments & so forths, but when others start to use them to bestow bad luck etc on others...it's not good.

Practicing voodoo does not guarantee results any more than casting Wicca/pagan spells, praying, chanting, Ouija boards, crystal balls, making sacrifices to deities, using healing crystals, rosaries etc etc.
These are cultural/religious rituals THOUGHT/BELIEVED to have an impact on future events--by no means have they or could they ever be proven.

If the efficacy of such practices was a sure thing, don't you figure almost everyone would be doing it in attempt to shape their fate for the better? Just like if diet pills were as effective as advertised--there would be few to no overweight/obese people living in first world nations.

I'm also cautious about sleeping with exotic(mixed,yellowbone), voluptuous Nigerian girls because of the whole Mami Water thing. Europe was predominantly Pagan before the spread of Christianity & the destruction of ancient records/temples of previous religions took place. Before much of humanity was(forcibly)converted to Judeo-Christian faiths and Islam, MOST continents/cultures subscribed to forms of paganism, animism & shamanism.

Even with Harry Potter and Wizards of Waverly Place, you don't see many westerners taking that stuff seriously. But in Africa, many people take Voodoo seriously.

I saw this letter from a Nigerian pastor asking another to help him get out of the mami water cult. He claimed to have gotten in to grow the number of his congregation, etc. Was taken by another pastor to the sea to have sex with this half fish woman. He said then the "woman" inserted a finger into her vagina & then drew a cross with it on his forehead + palm. The pastor claims that after that he could pray & make people pass out. He performed miracles, could see people's secrets & knew private info about each person he met. Only catch was for him to sleep with young girls to keep the powers potent.

He said he stopped having sex with the young girls, then his kids started dying one by one. Basically, his life came apart & the spirits were baying for his blood (wanted him dead) hence he need help from a real pastor. Sadly, he died in a car crash 2 days after sending the letter to the other pastor.

Most of nowday Christian rituals/celebrations practiced are actually directly pagan rituals. Pagan rituals dressed in Christian robes.

To "believe" truly in a certain ritual, you have to believe and understand NATURE - all around us, nature of life, of things and events.
