The Libra stare....

Ok, so over on the Scorp board they have a topic going about the Scorpio stare. What it means, what it comes from....the intensity and all that good stuff. But like Exam pointed out in her thread, us Libras have a rather unique stare ourselves. But nothing is really documented astrologically specifically pertainint to the stare.

So for the Libras.....have you been commented on your eyes in this manner? And in what way?

For those who have been with a Libra describe the stare. What does it evoke?

Aside from the romantic gaze like described by others about thee libras I don't really stare "perse". Eye contact is more of an accent with me, I don't do the eye lock that scorpios are known for. But I have noticed that it is really influential, like when I do make eye contact people take a mental step back that is very noticable. Save for maybe Scorps and other Libras....they don't seem to react in such a way. If anything I think it is charming when in a romantic state, intimidating when in a tense state.

Other Libras I know are the same way....girls and guys, their eye contact makes you take a mental step back. I have also noticed we can trick people with our eyes, like we can redirect peoples energy and confuse them with eye contact. It is probabably one of the stronger aspects of our charm.

I read Exam's post, went offline for a while and thought about that stare and OMG brought about plenty of thoughts so was going to post back there but then I saw this one!!!

That LIbran stare? hmmmm yes those eyes!! I find it very difficult to keep eye contact with my Libran for too long - its mesmerizing and I have to be careful not to get caught up in it and sometimes, yes its a little intimidating (in a good way though) which is insane as he is quite shy around women, and insecure and all that stuff, yet when he locks those eyes on yours he can come across as the most confident man I have ever met and I feel like a silly little school girl.

on Sunday night (and this is a tad embarassing but what the hell, you all know me by now LOL), I got a little caught up in the moment with him - we just got a little carried away on the lounge (no not THAT carried away ok?? sheesh!! just those amazing kisses and well other stuff) and I guess I got a little emotionally carried away (not like verbally but he certainly noticed what he'd done to me, lets just say he left me breathless and visibly so LOL) and he was just looking at me - I've never noticed him look THAT way ever....it was as if I made him think "whoah, I did that to her??" to himself and he seemed somewhat caught up in that moment...he's not big on talking emotionally but that look?? OMG!!

THAT has stayed in my mind ever since and you guys say you can hold onto loved ones in YOUR minds - sheesh!!!

Anyway, yes...that stare!! those eyes!! Pure magic

From my personal experience , I caught his stare twice . Once is when we first went out , he confessed that he liked me very much and asked me so now we were more than friends ! I said yes and we embraced , then I noticed he was staring at me , but it s different from my stare (filled with intensity and mystery of course !🙂 ).It s kind of questioning and searching something on my face!Then somehow we ended up in front of the mirror , there he was staring at the reflection of us in the mirror again .Kind of blank stare , like his mind lost in some space . I found it amusing and mysterious !(Scorp likes mystery🙂 )
Now , we are back , he did this thing again .Also , it amused me when he told me that he didnt know why he enjoyed my company so much , then he went quiet, withdrew his embrace and lost in thought again !🙂

I have to admit that I have stared girls into making the first move.

I have also stared people into backing the hell off. But that is different...not the crazy I want to kill something stare, the unamused I been there seen and done that your not worthy stare. lol

What about people with moon in Libra, such as myself?

tall dark, use that Libran moon then for the stare factor!!! LOL

I have not a single aspect of Libra in my moon/sun/yada yada....most is Leo...I must be thoroughly Leo!!!

Do people get nervous or try to not keep their eyes fixed on yours when you make eye contact? I hate this lol....I'm always like WTF? I was thinking happy thoughts 😢

Aaahhhh the Libran Stare. The best is when you aren't looking, this is when they really stare. You can feel their eyes burning right through you and there is always this subtle grin on their face while they are doing it. Although I often act as I don't see them, I do. I love it. Scorps have a more daring eye to eye "stare down" stare like, " Your hot and I will ravish you in a second". Libras, more like " hmmm, yeah I like but I guess you can't figure out what I am thinking" and it intrigues you, you wanna know what is exactly going on in their heads.

You'd need to be a brain surgeon to work out what is going on in their head!! and yup know about the eyes burning right through you when you're not "looking" as such....and the grin? evil.

Must learn that Scorp stare myself!! *studies* LOL

Your totally right, we have that natural need to be fighters. In that moment, when we are staring at you like that, we are finding peace in the beauty. The complete lack of struggle in the moment.

He complimented me so much more than I can take now ! lol ! Probably I told him jokingly that everybody likes compliments 🙂 He is a fast learner and good at mirroring I dare say ! He picked up some of my words and used it to cheer me up or make fun of me 🙂

The compliments will slow down after sex. The courtship influnce of our sign is so strong like this for some reason.

This is true. I posted a few months ago that my guy did this quite a bit. He still does to this day. I will catch him looking at my through the corner of my eye. Before, I'd ask him what he's looking at. Now, when I catch him staring, I hold his stare and smile...and then he'll either reach over to kiss me or rub my back or leg, etc.

Yeah, I guess the scorp stare is more direct and you can somewhat guess what we are thinking. Some might get scared and run. LOL!!! Others (Librans) step up to the challenge.

Libran stare, is definitely a peaceful and pleasant "ahhh" beauty in the moment stare. Sucks you right in.

It s so true!! I think up till now , only the Libra can stand my stare ! I had a staring contest with a Leo last year .He was much bolder , talkative and aggrogant but when we locked eyes for a while , he chuckled , embarrased and withdrew his eyes first!However, when I locked eyes with the Libra , he would kept that steady gaze at me and it actually soften my intensity , my challenging stare ! In the end , it was a peaceful and loving staring contest ! Lol 🙂

Sometimes the Libran actually initiates the stare, it is like they see, you and they can't take their eyes off of you and they don't even pretend they want to at times. It gave me chills.

I only use the sexy, "i want you" stare. I've found that it causes for double takes. Once the eye contact is made and the "i want you" look is confirmed, I would give the "I was just playing" stare...LOL

I don't know if they get nervous or not, but they do look away for the most part, I'm not that bad looking afterall. The ones that don't look away I nod to in order to see if they are a threat or not. It's not just my stare though, it's my general appearance and the way I walk, which is a hard, fast, and agressive strut as opposed to a "look at me, I'm hot shit" strut.

I meant to say that they don't look away because I'm ugly, because I'm not.

I use the Stare for other purposes as well...

If someone on the street or on public transport looks at me and it bothers me I will look him right into the eye - and keep on looking until he looks away. So I stare to be rid of the 'invading treatment' really. Very deciding, I guess.

I think we re supposed to keep our relationship in secret but after the night we kissed , he flirted with me in public! Very flirtatious stares sometimes made me blushing and looked away! Lol 🙂

I am a libra who has been told many times that I have great eye contact. I know I look people in the eyes, and people seem to be amazed with my ability to look right through them...but has any other libras noticed that when you like someone...the stare goes away!? I am totally nervous around guys I like and can't even look them in the eye...even the guy Im talking to right now, I like him so much and get nervous and can barely look hiim in the eye

I almost never stop looking a person in the eye
that was until it made the meek uncomfortable

I especially like the Leo and Scorpio stare
perhaps this is because they were the only ones to return the favor
