Tracking Libra Romantic Interests

As a Libra, ♎ I get crushes as easily as humans breath air on Earth.

Hyperboles aside, here are the people whom I have been romantically attracted to over my teen/adult life, according to sign. To me, this is a fun creative writing piece, but astrologists might also find it interesting. I will include short summaries of how I perceived each person.

♈ Aries - Middle school/High school crush; horribly addicting & hard-to-read person; instigated drama and encouraged bad behavior. ;P

♒ Aquarius - High school crush; well-meaning but otherwise bad influence, was more interested in me than I was him, served as a mentor and a romantic interest for a few months. He introduced me to my current partner. Introverted and thoughtful person who tried to serve as a good influence to his chaotic friends later.

♎ Libra - High school crush; Poor communication between us with lots of idealization. We had a dramatic falling out; it was mostly my fault. I think he descended into chaos after friend group drama led to him being scorned.

♒ Aquarius - Current partner for >6 years now. Disclaimer, it's an open relationship. We had a rough patch those years 3-4. The Libra is looking for some wistful romance, while the Aquarius just wants Libra to be consistent and focused. In retrospect, I am glad we stayed together. Anyway, damn, I really enjoy this person. Always encouraging me to explore my limits, affectionate, hard-working, calls out bull, inspires optimism, thoughtful... Love this person.

♋ Cancer - Was involved with kink activities with partner & me for a couple months; now, just my partner's friend. This Cancer seems to carry an aura of chaos with them, and is flirting with a billion people if not in a relationship at the moment.

♓ Pisces - Frustrating, disappointing, elusive, months-long crush that brought out obsessive idealization in me. This person struggles with feeling positive emotion, and was constantly complaining about work, family, health... Etc

♌ Leo - Crush that became mutual only after I maintained friendly interest for a couple months. Once it was mutual, it felt too clingy too fast for me, which freaked me the heck out and led me to stop talking to them. This Leo seemed to speak in exaggerations, and conversation always seemed to lead to conspiracy theories.

♋ Cancer - Crush that I developed via Internet while getting over the Pisces. Conversation was fun and light-hearted. When we finally met months later in-person, the chemistry was almost nonexistent, but he did introduce me to -hard- biting, which was fun. This Cancer seems to have a chaotic emotional landscape and a diminished sense of self.

♑ Capricorn - Developed a crush on this person instantly after meeting, but we were both too shy to even befriend each other until months later. This Capricorn has a tendency to drunk-text, albeit platonically. I had to leave the country a couple weeks after we became friends. Not sure there was really any romantic chemistry (besides the endless fantasies I plague myself with) but we still talk. This Capricorn seems to be low-stress, an extroverted introvert, and always looking for a good time.

♏ Scorpio - A friend of my partner's, we occasionally engage in kink-related activities together. He can be pretty funny, relatable, and I have much sympathy for him - even though, as my Aquarius partner explains, he oftentimes fulfills his own prophecy of destruction. This Scorpio fulfills a dark role in my kink fantasies, and I find the pairing of this Scorpio with my Aquarius partner to be wonderful. Excited to see where it might go, though am trying to -not get attached-.

Thus far in my life, as a Libra, it seems like I get the gnarliest crushes on Water signs: Pisces & Cancer. My relationship with the Air sign, Aquarius, is incredibly rewarding. Non-romantically, my closest friends have been Pisces, Aquarius, Taurus, and Cancer.
