Update

I have been receiving a couple of PM's from my beloved friends on the libra board asking what is going on with me. Here is a brief breakdown:

Early stages of getting to know a Taurus and a Virgo.

Taurus - We hung out a couple times with friends in a group, then lost contact for a few months. We just got back in contact with eachother recently. Before we lost contact,there was a great deal of chemistry building between us. We now talk on the phone just about every day. He lives 2 hours away and we were planned on going on a date twice. The first weekend, we both had last minute issues that came up. This past weekend, he cauht the flu. So we are anxiously looking forward to next weekend. Hoping we can finally hang out alone. I do adore him.

Virgo- (you guys probably know by now my first love was a virgo). I met him at his house, I was picking up a friend to go to another party and he was throwing a party for a scorp girl. He asked for my number, I gave it to him and we went to lunch last weekend. I had a great time with him, he made me laugh all afternoon and he is such a nice guy and very helpful to his friends (he is always doing something for friends). He is fine too. 😉

He is actually coming over tonight to fix a couple things at my home. I texted a couple guy friends to see who would be available, including him and he was the first to respond.. Shockingly (but not really) my ex libra (FWB)was the second. By the time he responded I told him someone else offered and thanked him. He is still a really good friend of mine. I got another after that.

Anyway, we plan to hang out again soon, we will probably confirm this evening. He is really nice.

My scorp friend isn't taking the friend thing too well. He still acts jealous and possessive about my other friends (males).

What are your takes on a more compatible choice for a scorp? Virgo/Taurus? I am leaning toward Taurus for some reason, but cha neva know.

Taurus=faithful, strong relationship, tender / caring, smart

Virgo/Scorp is suppose to be a killer combo like Leo/Libra. Just basic understanding of each other and good compliment. Taurus is your opposite probably very loving supportive relationship.

I think you are good with either but you seem to like the Virgo more.

Lose the Scorp. Who needs the dramatics? (JMO) 😄

Atom, that is moving me one more inch closer to Taurus. What is your take on Virgo?

LS, I really don't know yet... Virgo - really early only met a couple weeks ago. Taurus, talk all the time, but haven't been on a 1X1 date yet. We shall see. Keep the suggestions coming 🙂. I think this is becoming a competition thing. Maybe too early on.

I do care about my scorp friend. He just isn't really getting the friendship - only thing. I might have to leave him alone all together. I hate losing friends. 😢 But yeah, who needs the dramatics—?

I am neither a Scorp nor a Taurus so I don't have any first hand experience. My virgo ex was in a very serious (engaged) relationship with a scorp. There was a strong attraction but power issues, that may be different with scorp girl and virgo guy though, the virgo guys are a lot more laid back than the girls in my opinion.

As for the taurus, I would imagine a taurus guy would provide a similarly in the intillectual department and sensitivity department being earth and ruled by venus like the Libra. Taurus's can be more abrasive and defensive, my sister is one, my stepfather is one and I have several close taurus friends but that may not be a big deal to a scorp, some people make the same comment about scorps.

As far as personal experience, my GF is a Scorp rising with a scorp whatchamacallit in her chart....thre planets in scorp within a few degrees, we all talked about those a while back. I have a taurus rising. We both react to situations like a scorp and taurus initially, cool, reserved, head on and neither of us like to show weekness and we both get comments from friends and family about being cool and detatched. Were really not though, with each other we are very warm and open and unafraid to voice worry or concern. I do have three planets in virgo too....mars, venus and mercury....she has venus in scorp....so that might hint at why we are distant and relaxed to outsiders and very close and sensitive to one another. We both feel easily claustrophobic when in relationships, yet for seven months we have done everything together and arrange things that we don't need to do with each other simply so we can. Neither of us have felt claustrophobic yet. Were both libras, me with a strong virgo influence and her with a strong scorp influence.

I dunno if that helps or makes things more confusing though?

Well, my Virgo friend just left. He took care of the things i needed at my home. Very handy. From the South, gotta love those country boys. LOL!!! I cooked dinner yesterday and had leftovers, and since he just came from the gym he was starving. He ate, we talked and laughed. He asked my plans for the weekend. I told him I wasn't sure about Saturday (I have my daughter this weekend, but can get a sitter - didn't tell him that). He told me to give him a call this weekend. I will do that. He is sooo niiiiicccceee.

Thanks Nic, I am hearing that Scorp gir/Virg guy is a better fit even on the Taurus board. We will see.

I would suggest a scorpio with many air (preferably libra) planets, from what I've read of your accounts. Virgo/scorp in my opinion are suitable, but they do not truly understand each other. Taurus/scorp is where the dramatics lie..

I don't know, my experience and views are based on what I've observed - hope it's helpful anyway.

I don't do well with Leo men at all, even though I'm on a good sextile - they tend to be bossy and arrogant for me - though the attraction is certainly there. I would recommend a scorpio for a leo man - I've seen one combi and it works like unadulterated magic.

I know the Taurus is good with the child of the woman. He almost adopted his previous girlfriend's daughter before they broke up she even still calls him dad. He has no children of his own.

The Virgo has a 12 year old. He asked quite a few questions about my daughter and shared pictures of his with me.

I wonder who would be a better step dad— LOL~!!! I know jumping the gun, but my baby is always my first consideration.

QS, Virgo is SO detail minded / picky that they are more pessimistic than you notice at first. IMO=will drive you nutz. (AND they always look out for themselves first).

I don't know what is in the air for Librans, but LP has been in deep contact lately....

My libra FWB, called and asked my oppinion on furniture as he is moving and he wanted me to go online with him to pick furniture. Asked me to come over to his new condo to see his carpet today and help him figure out what furniture and layout design he should have!!!

He had broken his bed down to move. So he had to sleep on the floor on a matress. He came over and spent the night, platonic sleep over, and we talked almost all night, watched a movie. I just got back from his place it was nice. We went to breakfast. Got a text from the Virgo 🙂

We will see— Libra friend can smell when others are around, although we will probably never be more than a friend. I am concentrating on earth boys right now... LOL!

Oh and did I mention I just had a 2 hour convo with the bull. I really like the bull... The Virgo is hot too though. This is exciting, I cannot wait to see how this plays out.

Thanks KennyG I am sending you a pm. Question you might be able to answer. On another note. My scorp friend isn't taking the friendship thing well, we got into a huge text fight yesterday. LOL!!! I was in meetings so he couldn't call. He apologized by last night via text. Missed 3 calls from him this morning. Finally caught the 4rth. He wanted to verbally apologize. He had a bad day. I told him I didn't know if it was healthy for us to be friends right now.

Going Shoe Shopping at ALDO with my girl, then the Virg said he would call after he leaves the gym. It is cold and snowy here and he wants to watch movies at his place until his guys come over to watch the game. My other girl is throwing a b-party for her boyfriend and I have a girlfriend in town from ATL. Busy weekend. Good thing my daughter decided to spend the weekend with her cousins. 🙂

Also, QS, regarding Taureans---they can have a temper; a particular Tauras lad I'm thinking of LOVES to argue w/ his Scorpio mom AND his GF. Virgos on the other hand are more passive agressive which doesn't fly with the Scorps I know.

BTW, QS, we know you're hot so no surprise about the men coming from anywhere (you must be very entertained!).

I know how you feel. It can seem like such a long, long journey. Just remember it can seem like forever but it isn't. It is just now. In a few months, you will have your partner. 😉

My intensions exactly. So far that would be the Bull, but I won't stop getting to know the Virg, before making any decisions.

Okay guys, there has been a huge change of events. I have decided to focus on my new business venture 100% Which means I will give myself a break on the dating scene.

Just as I made this decision with myself. Everything with the prospects went haywire!!!

Couldn't make yet another date with the Virg or the Bull. I don't think either of them take me serious. I couldn't help it. I had an unexpected engagement concerning family.

I screwed things up with my Libra friend. Damn!!! Did something that wasn't really cool. (No nothing like last time)

Had to completely end the friendship with the scorp guy.


So starting from square one with me and my business venture a priority. I guess it will be a cold but busy winter after all... 😢

QS that's a good thing though....you will have a fresh start in 2008 with all "baggage" taken care of.....that's something to look forward to 🙂

I say the business venture is a better idea than any man at this point in time 😛

It is good to get rid of all the hanger-oners. Sometimes you just have to keep saying no to the rubbish so the universe takes you seriously. Say NO to what you don't want. YES to what you do want.

Stomp your foot and say enough with the rubbish. It is really liberating!

Don't worry about your librafriend. Libras RARELY stay mad. If you are a true Scorp, he will forgive you LONG before you ever even start to forgive yourself.

LS, I hope you are right. I know I will miss him, but I can be crazy sometimes. Although I apologized, I probably willl always feel worse than he feels about it.
