Valentine's Day

The last 5 have been pretty meaningless so it holds not interest to me anymore I will be making special cookies with my son and probably watching Peanuts Valentine movie or Milo and Otis for the 100th time and that is good enough lol. But Lets hear your stories what are the best and the worst Valentine's Days you have had?

I think it's a meaningless ordeal to celebrate something once a year that should be celebrated every day as is, by deafult. And it's especially comical to expect to celebrate it when you lack it in your life as is, as a feeling or in the form of significant other.

Some people even get into this whole thing of "getting a date for Valentine's Day for sake of not being alone". treetrunking misers.

I'm not big on this holiday either. He's taking me to dinner and I bought a new dress since he told me it's gonna be fancy, Fml lol.

Much prefer celebrating my birthday over valentines. We're doing a weekend island getaway for my bday. Cannot wait!!!

I have a funny Valentine's story for you.

I was dating this Aqua guy whose birthday happened to be …. Feb 14th. We had just started dating a few weeks but had made plans … I didn’t want to do anything too big because it was still early but it was his birthday too so I needed to do something. Anyway, I made some cookies and got a cute little bag. (And I don't bake or cook for guys. I just figured this really was the least I could do.) THEN he cancelled on me at the last minute. I was furious.

I called some gal pals for an emergency valentine’s day drink fest. We bar hopped and went to see a band. I flirted my face off. Told the barkeep what happened and got free drinks. I got drunk and went to his place and we all threw cookies at his apartment. HA HA HA!

And noh! I never returned his calls or spoke to him again. But it is funny now.

Ah valentine's a good excuse to binge on candy & netflix an entire que of chick flicks. I'm going to see how to be single with my bff as we celebrate her birthday.

Last year my Libra was super sweet and bought me a bracelet with our future wedding date engraved in it.

This year we are broken up but he's been contacting me, trying to rekindle things. His home country (Yugoslavia) broke up in the 90's and he moved to America. I found a couple coins from the year he was born on eBay. I can't decide if he would love them as a gift or think they are stupid. What do you think?

If you're not from Yugo yourself then it's kinda sweet nd thoughtful I guess
