I went whale watching yesterday. We got lucky and saw like 6 whales and a huge pod of dolphins. It was pretty freaking cool.

Yep. I'd heard a lot of hit and miss when others have gone. Even the boat guys were like "wow guys, this was a really good trip!" One even popped up like 30 feet from the boat. I couldn't get over there to get a shot in time because some tard wouldn't move.

Once you become an adult, you yearn for the simplicity of childhood. Life becomes more complex once you become an adult.
And yes, Peter Pan syndrome would probably describe those immature ones adequately. I'm not talking about remaining youthful in your approach to life- I'm talking loser status. People who refuse to face being an adult and making adult choices. They're also Darwin award winners when it comes to procreating too. They make shitty parents, usually end up in major debt, refuse to be responsible for anything.
Namely- a good portion of what our society is turning into. Welcome to the generations that sprouted off the Dr. Spock era.

Definitely been a while! I still remember when the news came out, I was devastated! Really liked her.
So this is going to be a random ramble, but it's just the overall situation I've been thinking about because, whoa.
Been hanging out with the guys and I just keep finding out the extent of my ex's... lunacy? I have NO idea what this dude's issue is. The only reason it's been on my mind since learning about it is because... wow. What the hell happened?
The guy that I was with, prior to his "tralala runaway" phase toward the end, was a total sweetie. Very considerate, good listener, and according to him, had only been with 3 other girls prior to me (so he says). Seemed very respectful toward me/women, and so on. Totally decent guy, right?
A year or so after the break up, I started hearing misc. things from friends. His attitude has gone completely the opposite direction- all talk about how women are objects, hit it and quit it, etc. etc. ...mkay.
Recently, I find out that he's been banging chicks that pass themselves around this group of friends. Two of which have also slept with his roommate. One was also a roommate while she was there. Both of these chicks were nasty and one even had a blue waffle from what he shared with the guys (if you don't know what it is, don't ask).

Not recommended at all, should have a warning label on these sorts of prescription. As his friend, it was difficult being there for him, after a run with many a women, quite certain he broke quite a few hearts in the process, he would go through these 'pits of hell' break downs, trying to wedge alcohol and cigarettes away from the man was quite a task indeed, especially when he was in tears, one moment, the next, punching a wall. Simply a relief, he is engaged now, no more madness.

Can't say I'm completely new to the idea. It was strange to think how differently I'd approach relationships back then. Especially coming out of that first one I probably would sound like Rocky's specimen because I just didn't care after that for a while.
