*dances* like a virrrr -errrrr- uh- errr- gin!

And let's do a DXP cook off! but god those lamingtons look delish

DXP's very own Hell's Kitchen or MasterChef?

Have you seen the young 'uns on Juniour MasterChef (Australia), those children are talented, are they not?
It does make an embarrassment out of many an adults, some of they have years ahead of them if they continue the same way they are now, embarking on quite a possible career if they continue loving what they do, with their passion, their unyielding excitement.

Cooking, for cooking's sake would be but a bore. To cook for a reason, for someone, with someone, in good company, in celebration, for an occasion or even milestones. These are the precise reasons in which cooking becomes so much more, experimenting is adventurous at times, but why not? Especially attempting new recipes, that is quite a killer. Most definitely if one feels good, the food tastes great, anything otherwise, one would merely call it edible.

Which do you prefer doing more so of, baking or...?

Cook for the people you love...
...love the people who cook for you

THIS is my mantra when it comes to the kitchen.

As for my preference? Ummm...

I do have 1 dessert in my repertoire but otherwise baking I never picked up on. My grievance with baking is that its far more exact in measurements compared to everything else. For example, if I'm making something, I FAR more likely to throw in a little extra bit of garlic because that's how I like it. With baking, even just a little bit extra can throw the sweetness contrast completely off.

***Cook with love, Cook with passion.***

Grilled Lamb and Haloumi skewers served with crisp yet soft pita bread and a touch of crunchy salad to top it off.

Citrus Lamington and Tea.

Woah. Hold up..

You can cook?!?!

Haha, now why is that a surprise?

(P.S. Anyone can cook, the distinguishing difference, whether the food tastes divine or not.)

Do you have ANY idea how hard it is to find a woman that can cook for a damn now a days? *laugh*
For some reason I'm cursed with only ever dating women that can only burn toast and making tea is a stretch for them.

the only time i cooked was for a past love and his kids 🙂 at first i really sucked and it landed them all on the porcelain throne, but with practice i got better. my ex use to say " you went from hamburger helper to my favorite dish!" i enjoyed it immensely when i was cooking for someone else. now..nah...not so much. gone out the window went all of my efforts

Precisely.

In my "bah, humbug" mood, everything that comes out of the kitchen is edible.
In my "oh my god, I love you, I love life, I love everybody, I love the world, I love everything" mood, everything that comes out of the kitchen is miraculous.

Quite the difference, huh? Yes, most close friends would note this, they have eaten quite the spectrum...

Haha, baking is not quite a science yet although one could make it such a project.
For myself, I either bake when I am in a terrible, terrible mood.
If so, watch out the kitchen tops will be filled with anything and everything sweet.
Then if I am in the down-in-the-gutter's mood, I would in fact eat all in which I have baked.
As witnesses have seen in the past, apparently it is quite an astounding sight 😛

Although, if the occasion is full of merriment, then quantity would not rule the day, but quality.
Delicately put together desserts, presentation and all.
Then to watch those who enjoy them, their faces glow up in glorious ecstasy, is delightful 🙂

Well, this humble lady would not call herself an incredible cook but every woman can learn this 'trait' so to speak.
Cooking is not as hard as what everyone makes it out to be, get her to watch Jamie, he really turns the world upside down, in showing the audience the ease in cooking great quality food right at home with simple incredibles but bursting taste.

Although I would say the very same for men, I psuedo-quote...

"I either bake when I am in a terrible, terrible mood." I can't stop laughing at this hahaha.

Be careful there, ma'am 😄. This could be a DANGEROUS past time depending on how often you're in a terrible mood?

I agree... I like nothing more then when who I am cooking for handles the music... looks over at me as she tips her wine glass... and smiles... This is called ramance... it almost does not exist any more I think...

I do however love to cook for my family as well... as my step mother once asked about my cooking and was shocked when I made something... She always wants to know what I think of her cooking... she is getting better though... I have to say i miss her food... 🙂

Hahahahahahaha, the way in which you had envisioned it was spectacular indeed.
My closest friends have witnessed such an event before, cake/pie/or whatever else sweet...again?!
My response: try and beat me to the kitchen, then to pry (possibly drag) me away from that oven, then we shall see what else is for dinner, hmm? *begrudgingly yet sweetly smiles*
Friends: *sits muttering, deciding whether to make a run for the door or for the telephone*
My response: another helping?

(P.S. I love Paella, delicious...Mmmm. For those who have not been to Spain, envision it, by the sea, laughter sounding, the sun shining bright, a glass of Pedro Xim?nez, quality company, music playing in the background, then this massive Paella arrives to be shared. Oh my, that environment is wondrous.)

Sant?, to Ramance.
Yes cooking, without an appropriate music playlist being put on in the background, absolutely kills the mood, at least for myself.

Haha! Hilarious!

Ya! I think that's why I ended up adding that Paella as one of my favorite's to make. It's just such a "social" dish. Huge ass paella pan which by default just invites family style dining. Have you had it in Spain? God it must be FANTASTIC there. It's hard to find a place that serves a good Paella here.

Oh oops 🙂 Good morning Lady. I do cook and bake. One of my favorite pastimes, when I have the time lol. I'm good with appetizers and desserts. My signature dish is this:

Crumb apple cobbler.

I also make a mean salad:

with or without salad greens added 🙂

The very same goes for myself, appetizers, finger food and desserts (baked goods), are my specialities.
A home baked quiche would go lovely with that salad, a great and healthy way to go for a mid-day meal 🙂

anybody who likes Hello Kitty is okay with me 😛

I never liked Hello Kitty until I noticed the reaction my daughter had to her
when she was around 4 months old. Kinda took off from there. Turned
Into "haiiii keetie" then totally had a Pinterest inspired Hello Kitty 1st
birthday for her. Yup. One of those. Hahahaha. Now I think she's frakkin'
adorable.

Great minds think alike.
In fact, Salmon and Dill quiche was what I had in mind when I wrote that suggestion.
They are perfect, fit for any mid-day meal and one could always leave a few pieces in the freezer for later.
Did, I mention they are entirely heathy and easy to make, whilst one is at it, one could make a pie too.

In regards to sailors, YES!!! 😄

You are way too cheery to be a water sign... You just dont come off it. Not saying that they can't be , I'm just satin most I have encountered are calm and serene like the ocean .

You remind me of a hamster high off cocaine. But in a positive way

Fairly good description. LOL

That was what I had remarked on previously, completely unlike a water sign and this is coming from a water sign.
None of my menfolk friends are like this, in any state.
This is erratic, like a chubby child who loves cake but has been deprived with ADHD syndrome with a massive 😄
My best guess- Gemini, Aries...Sag?

Loveseeker has been around for over a year and Jason Deluca left a mere few months ago, unless the individual was able to create multiple accounts and still fly under the radar here with Duncan over-looking, then otherwise it does not seem feasible?
