They are a mystery to you? They will give you the key, yet in trying to keep that circle around them impenetrable, they expose themselves consistently, in thinking only of you and deciphering YOUR ways πŸ˜›

That sounds about right with the one I know. Really slow to start up until one night we got really drunk and became best buddies. We talk about girl and boy issues all the time like it's nothing! But she has a heart of gold that one.

LadyScorp's eyes! watchout they sting!

Sting where and sting who? *looks around innocently* πŸ˜›

I have never been stung before. I've seen others afflicted though πŸ˜›
I had to one time "manage" a conflict between a libra and a scorp. Both my friends. Will we dabble in the aquameter for friendship again I wonder?? πŸ˜„

Librans and Scorpions make wonderful friendships, everything could practically go tits up and the next day, all is fine again. Very explosive and volatile but the ever fair nature that exists, often keeps a great balance, how? By swaying between two extremes and taking short breaks amongst grey areas πŸ˜„

I think this could account for some unusual behavior πŸ˜›

Born between the days of January 20 and February 18, this is one woman who you should watch out for. One of the most powerful signs in the zodiac, the Aquarius woman comes with only one motto - Originality. Since the Aquarius worships originality so much, you will find that every Aquarius is different from the other. Surprising?! Wait, there are more of such Aquarius woman characteristics. An Aquarius woman seeks only excellence and dreams like it's nobody's business. She knows all those dreams aren't going to come true, but that won't stop her from dreaming anyway. They are 'careless dreamers', and thus, might come across as a little absent-minded. They are a bit provocative when they talk, and this comes naturally. You might notice a fan-following for this one, even though she isn't exceptionally beautiful. These women believe in kindness, and cannot make one person the center of their lives. Everything is about the whole world and not just one person.

Fits a few individuals in my mind which I know of...

I have seen scorpios take shots here. I feel like aqua women and aquas in general receive scattered fire from time to time.
If we all just understood each other more.. πŸ˜„

No shots fired πŸ™‚

Simply very different in expressions and there is a contrast in fundamental underworking machinery that makes up who we are. We can both appreciate each other as species which are very different even though beautiful in its own right, as an objective sort of processing but otherwise, your kind cannot 'feel' in the way we feel and we cannot 'think' in the way you lot may think.

Different yet strangely complimentary.

Hi PM πŸ™‚ yes, I'm in a great mood. I enjoyed the beach today and I'm going back tomorrow. I love that...I totally relax there.

Right now I'm relaxing and Im planning on having a movie marathon tonight...how are you doing?
πŸ™‚

Plus I'm dieting now straight so nothing to eat tonight lol...I need to get rid of this last bit. Nothing like a challenge, right? πŸ˜„

Movie marathon, made the mistake of watching Message in a Bottle recently, balled my eyes out at the unexpected end (or at least something must be up in the stars, slightly more emotional as of late). Paul Newman was incredible as usual in the film, he does fill out any role that he embarks on, be it one that is not in the lead, truly heartfelt and real. Although the soundtrack in correlation with the scenery, the waters, the boat, the lulling music, does make for a beautiful sensory experience.

If you have not watched Love and Other Drugs, that would be recommended, funny yet emotional too, endearing yet sexy.
What genres of films to you enjoy Feby?

Hello Lady πŸ™‚ I love watching movies. I enjoy foreign films as well as horror and I am a huge scifi junkie of sorts.
I also enjoy historical documentaries as well as time specific genres including 80s films and B movies. πŸ™‚

I will look into: love and other drugs.

I like romance movies but I prefer company when I embark on that journey πŸ™‚

How about yourself? I've noticed you have great appreciation for certain cinematic iconic figures. Rightly so and duly noted. I sound like Tiz now lol.

Hello Feby πŸ™‚ I would not recommend the former film though, it was not as incredible as what others had shared of it, with the exception of Paul Newman, as usual.

Hmm, foreign films. Gloomy Sunday is rather dark but intriguing, Intouchables a heartfelt yet still a great comedy with a true story as the backdrop, Priceless is another french comedy that will bring laughter, Jeux d'enfants, a comedy/drama/romance yet done in an interesting cinematic way...there is a multitude to recommend but those are the more lighter ones, which I could think of, for a movie marathon.

Personally, I enjoy documentaries too, do you enjoy psychological/criminology in regards to such genres?
In regards to what I watch, the list is rather long, should I were to unveil it but yes I am aware and appreciate certain cinematic iconic figures but even there, the variety is vast for various reasons, different acting style , different eras, some foreign others more mainstream etc.

Yes, you did sound like tiz there for a second. A Bond Girl now, are you? πŸ˜‰

Hi feb πŸ™‚ and all. PM, it's good to see you in an upbeat mood.

I'm not here to stay. Just wanted to say Jeux d'enfants is a truly terrible film to me. I can understand why Lady Scorp loves France like home now, if she's into French excess and melodrama. The jeux d'enfants story was completely full of crap and the ending was even worse. All my opinion though.

Priceless is a very enjoyable film.

I liked the sex scene in Love And Other Drugs, it was unconventional. And the speech he gives at the end when she gets off the bus. He said something I can't remember but I didn't expect something so original in an otherwise average film.

In the last couple of days I've found out Lady Scorp not only knows about the writing of Erich Fromm but appreciates the icon that is Paul Newman, the originator of man. Hm. We're gonna need a bigger coffee table.

Haha, well now, these were light fare recommendations for a movie marathon, one hopes to not kill our fellow Aquarian here with heavy, though inducing films one another another, she may be OD on cerebral energy.

After all I am a female at the end of the day, one who needs her dose of fantastical melodrama in film and preferably not in reality. The ending was hmm, odd that much I would admit but the rest was a good enough comedic and entertaining fare. French excess? Non, I prefer the understated, excess and the French do not necessarily go very well together, perhaps in a bygone era but definitely now in the current times. At the end of the day the entire world is ones' true home to rummage through, life adventures one after another, all within a matter of a 24 hr time frame and frankly one could be anywhere.

Besides remember that infamous saying of mine - "to each their own"

(An even bigger coffee table?! What next shall one bring...the tapas, sheesha along as well, time passes better with such accompaniments during conversations/debates, don't you think tiz?)

The Love and other Drugs monologues were as such-

"I'm full of shit, okay? No I'm... I'm *knowingly* full of shit. Because, uh... because uh, uh... I have... I have *never* cared about anybody or anything in my entire life. And the thing is, everybody just kind of accepted that. Like, "That's just Jamie." And then you!... Jesus. *You*. You. You didn't see me that way. I have never known anyone who actually believed that I was enough. Until I met you. And then you made me believe it, too. So, uh... unfortunately... I need you. And you need me. "

"Let's just say in some alternate universe, there's a couple just like us, okay? Only she's healthy and he's perfect. And their world is about how much they're going to spend on vacation or who's in a bad mood that day, or whether they feel guilty about having a cleaning lady. I don't want to be those people. I want us. You. This. "

"I used to worry a lot about who I'd be when I grew up. You know, like how much money I'd make or, umm, like some day I'd become some big deal. Sometimes, the thing you want most doesn't happen. And sometimes, the thing you never expect does. Like giving up my job in Chicago and everything and deciding to stay and apply to med school. I don't know. You meet thousands of people and none of them really touch you. And then you meet one person and your life is changed... forever. "

I found it, it was this

"I am full of shit, ok? No...no...I am KNOWINGLY full of s***. I have never cared about anybody or anything in my entire life, and people have ACCEPTED that.

And then you... you didn't think of me that way."

The last part is obviously romantic. I just thought the difference between being full of it and knowingly full of it was a nice twist on writing. Everyone I've met is either one or the other and honestly sometimes I wonder which is more acceptable. And which is more conducive to a loving relationship.

Neither is really acceptable in my opinion (although there are exception in regards to circumstances), there is always the third option of one knowingly full of it whilst being self-aware enough the one will be motivated enough to make changes, and dislodging the former excuse one used to armour themselves with. Conducive? That is all within the matters of perception and the parties involved.

message in a bottle by nicholas sparks? i wasnt aware they made a film adaptation if this is the same one. the book was pretty good. not a fan of nicholas sparks writing style , but he does have a way with words. i just wished his writing style was better...some books is hard for me to follow. i.e the notebook...i love the movie...the book...not so much. i find that his movies are always better. the letters between noah and allie pulls on my heart strings. β€”

love and other drugs was good also. i enjoyed it. anne hathaway is an amazing actress

That is always the problem with book adaptations, either the book is amazing and the film flops or vice versa, rarely do we get a great piece of work from both sources.

The chemistry between the actors in Love and Other Drugs were truly in sync, Jake and Anne really had something extraordinary to pull off some of those scenes, anything less would have been but awkward and difficult to watch. Good times, good memories πŸ™‚

PM, it is nice to see you when you are swimming in more serene waters. You do have a beautiful, if not romantic heart in there, some day there will be a woman out yonder awaiting a man such as the likes of you. Yes, you are correct, one should always express their gestures of love and affection be it great big displays or small thoughtful actions, for one never knows what tomorrow may hold. Never ever let go of the chance of allowing the ones you care about know, your very love for them, live every day as if it is the very last one in those respects, for one should never be embarrassed to embrace those who they love, for life may be cruel at times.

I think romance should be a basic in a relationship... I mean if you care show it... does not have to be something big really simple things... and sure a gesture of your affection is not wrong... But I think a lot of men don't take them time to show it consistently... sure we all have our off days but generally people can get beyond them if they care enough...

I remember the was a time I was so in love that I bought roses 6 to a 12 by the time the old started looking old there would be new ones... I did it for a year...

Of course my father sent his mother law... a rose equal to her age and an extra one for good luck... 60 something rose...

I personally love to see who ever I am date light up... everyone should be shown they are special... and if you really care it will just come out...

Very good. πŸ™‚ we argued that feminine intuition can't be scientifically proven so according to him it doesn't exist. I managed to show him exactly what my feminine intuition was all about. Aww. men in love.

i noticed that when i mix my meds with coffee...i feel more tired then when i take my meds without coffee. its the caffeine man the caffeine. crappy interaction.

That's because caffeine increases absorption rate of meds. Excederin "migraine" is essentially aspirin with caffeine.

lol ahh yes thank you. i brought this up to my provider and all she said was " if you can handle it, then go for it "

its funny how much prescribers dont know about the meds they prescribe, most of information i got was 90% of my own research

I get really bad tension headaches and wanted to see wtf the big deal was about Excedrin migraine. NOTHING! It's just glorified aspirin. You can get the same effects of regular aspirin and drinking something caffeinated.

I also discovered that ibuprofin targets the pain receptors in the muscles (cause of tension headaches) more effectively as opposed to Tylenol or aspirin.

Not that I ever considered switching, but I always wondered by Advil/ibuprofin was the go to for minor injuries, aches, pains, anything related to the musculoskeletal system.

Haha indeed Tiz! I only go for smart guys afterall.

+1

i've noticed my interest in men have changed. less the physical, more the intellectual. Don't get me wrong, i still have to be physically attracted to them ...but looks or assets isn't such a huge factor anymore. i love those who can stimulate the mind. an air sign changed my ways.

lots of things have changed. i read your posts in the metaphysical forum and also the most recent ones. very insightful. posts more posts more posts more

Epitome of cerebral love.

Stinger swimming in the wrong seas, although intelligence could hardly be the only favourable trait, a good heart within a great man certainly amps up the sexy factor.

Intellect can't be that hard to find can it? Pretty much all the women on this site say that "stimulating the mind" is their number one requirement. Are all the men you're meeting acting in a dumb way?

I stopped understanding why intellect is so sought after. I think enjoying someone's company tops everything for me.

It is understanding... not smart... they want someone to maybe not agree but understand there views and respect them... and your rights to them or the way you think... after all as long as you have the key things it should not be a problem...

Guys just say they want smart girls often to attractive girls now because they are so use to here they are attractive...

Beauty is another concept of health actually... this is why when you take better care of yourself you attract more people stronger Aura...

It is that self love...

I personally find I am attracted to way different girls then most of my friends...

I quote myself-

"Always, if one can not love ourselves, no one should be able to love you. It starts in the self and expands outwards."

Intellect for intellect's sake is nothing but emptiness, it is what and how one makes use of such knowledge, creating an understanding, for then the very concept will be taken beyond.

Quality is quality. You know when you feel it. At the age I'm at right now I'd rather not put words to it sometimes and just enjoy it for what it is. That's also why I've stopped understanding why intellect is sought after. It gets in the way of a lot of quality that could instead take it's place.

"Magic often happens when words will not do" Balmy Tigress told me that one. I may be paraphrasing. She said it much better.

Yes, words are cheap as they come and actions speak far louder but then without words there will be nothing, for what of understanding and communication. In most relationships, or rather some would call this bonding, again it is about striking a fine balance between the two. I must disagree, one must know quality in order for one to recognize quality, it does not come as they go, yes intuitively one may decipher such a presence within the company one shares but instinctually or rather at a deeper level, inside we know what we truly consider as quality, now whether or not those individuals have mastered them as such, to be able to put them into words, is a whole new matter entirely.
