Yes + 1 on Lebanese and another favourite of mine, is Persian (Iranian).
Do you know of any one whom resides in Istanbul? It makes a world of difference should one experience it in that way 🙂
I had locals showing me around. Maybe I was not as impressed because I grew up with that similar cuisine, and I got bored of it

Frankly, I would be pulled in a multitude of directions but there are certain few members I would most definitely love to meet in person, for sure and some I would rather stay planets away from.

I've actually done Vegas with people I've met in a capacity like this. But they were people I'd spend hours with voice chatting online and playing games with so generally speaking, it didn't feel I was going to meet a bunch of strangers. Once everyone got settled into their respective hotels, the first place I took us all to...Strip club! Woohooo! Nothing breaks the ice like $ 1 bills, scantily clad nubile nymphs, and a few drinks!
There was a time USCTaurusgal was in town and we were going to catch a Chargers game but I ended up having to be at my station that day.

Sharks aren't too bad. Just don't act like its food and you'll be fine. On a trip I took to Hawaii, a bunch of us were body surfing and found this huge ass Tiger Shark just chilling nearby. Grabbed a knife and went down to check him out a little closer. He just chilled. Didn't make any real quick or aggressive moves.

I went snorkeling once and barracuda started chasing me (it went straight toward me with these super scary teeth). Let's just say it traumatized me enough not to go snorkeling for 2 years, and still to this day I look for it when I go in the water. I can't even imagine what would happen to me if I would actually see a shark brrr :/

Traumatized, quite a while ago, snorkling in the Coral Reefs, wandering a little off further from the crowds hoping to explore a bit more, the sheer stunning beauty that was laying before my eyes when a shadowed uncomfortably loomed, I could feel it. It was a moment as like what 911 had divulged above, the only thing I remembered was staying very still until it passed and swam fast, away, back to 'safety', only on landing, to find an small octopus stuck on me, ready to spew ink.

One is meant to be still, moving around, making noise and splashes is the worst thing one could do and it was not a shark, I do not think so, I did not want to really care then, only clear sharp focus on staying still and getting the hell out of there, fast.
The way you shared the barracuda chasing you, somehow, that image had me in fits of laughter! Thank you for that, 911 🙂
They very well could be but the one that clung unto me, was not. Nothing, sat on that metal platform, my legs submerged into the water, but near enough, for it to choose to cling unto those railings and not myself. I had made attempts, to gently probe it away, but it shrunk back and spewed a little ink, so I left it be, it eventually became bored with me and went off.

I'm in a bind. The kitty isn't doing well and I think I'm at that point where it's time to make that decision. 😢
It's in that thread about chasing Libras. His responses strike me as him being rather pompous in Leo fashion. Very dismissive about what he doesn't want to hear, etc. Which is why that IP thing made me lol.
She's gotten really wobbly again and now she's not eating very well which isn't a good sign. I was holding her yesterday and just mentally evaluating everything going on and all I could think was, "fuck..."
With the recent bloodwork, the vet said we've done all we can do at this point and to just keep doing the current routine since she was doing well at that point. Despite the new meds, her levels are still high. She was doing fine up until last week before I took her in. :/
It's not dizziness, it's weakness. And that's about it at the moment. I thought she wasn't using the litter box, which is another flag, but the box is upstairs and she hasn't been too hot on climbing the stairs. So I put a small box downstairs next to where she's been camping out, and she's used it. So that's a good sign.
She's been pretty quiet and staying in this one spot mostly. She got up and came into the kitchen when I made her food, and when I go outside, she wants to come with, as usual. Perked up when I came down there this morning. She seems to just be feeling really "meh."
The lack of eating is a huge concern though.
