I don't think in going to join the chiffon shirt movement. They are very pretty and I think it looks elegant on people, but it doesn't bide well with me. Im so little I look like wearing a dress . Regardless of the size

I think I'll stick to the chic and sleek movement.

You ladies donning the flowy chiffons?

There are a multitude of ways for petite sized ladies like yourself.
Choose soft, lighter or even pastel shades, and wear them tucked instead of untucked.
Preferable with a pair of shorts/skirt/trousers/jeans that are high waisted, not too loose in fit though, tailored.
The bottom should be of a darker shade.
To draw the lines longer, have your hair up to accentuate the bottom half and your neck will elongate your upper torso, keeping it from being shrouded by the fabrics.
Clean accessories, keep it at a minimal to achieve the chic and elegant look in which you are aiming for, keep the neckline free of decorations.
Perhaps a simple pair of earrings, or if you would want to go all out a bold pair and sunglasses to top it off.
Heels if you would, to add unto the look, cork wedges if you prefer a more sailor, sea-side, beach-side aura.

(P.S. Choose lighter chiffons and not heavier opaque ones in a solid color and do stay away from large patterns or prints)

well damn LS, i am going to you for all my fashion questions. good to know lady! i will keep that in mind

My pleasure, I could go further on about the specific cut, length, and fit of the bottoms and precisely which type of heel would fit best but then again you might not wish to have all these details πŸ˜›

That you are actually an alien but you've come to love the earthlings. You must phone home for a few days and they must not blow your cover.

Other than that I suppose what dimpz said will do lol. Just don't do what my sister does and pull out the "My grandma died today" for the 100th time. Even just an emergency situation or something lol.

I think I was really exhausted this one time and slept through a shift. I told them that's exactly what happened and they told me to find a better excuse next time *shrugs*

You know those secretive and enigmatic bastards who happens to be much more stunningly intelligent then what anyone would ever give them credit for, who actually has a heart of gold, that is kept hidden often by a dark and somewhat sarcastic attitude, sensitive to a fault but no one would be able to tell by the show they put out to the world. The very men, who you are never certain as to whether or not, you would rather slap them or to kiss them, love them or to hate them. Yet no matter what, you only want them all the more, like very deliciously dark chocolate.

Yes, those kind of men. Damn them, my Achilles Heel!

I know it doesn't. People don't reply to my post anymore because their boring, verbose, and redundant.

Hmm, no. Simply very Virgoan in style and for those who have different ways of communicating, it is rather easy to swift off one's brain to your seemingly ramblings. Although in regards to what you had written, some women are into men exactly as you have mentioned, not all women come in cookie cutter form.

You know, I find it hard not to skirt the line between what you described and also being a genuinely good person. As in, with consistent direction and actually driving forward towards the ideals you stand for. Which is why Mr.D's thread on good men was a great thread. It brought it home for me.

Certain individuals which I have known who have met this description were down right jerks to be honest, there was nothing more, even if I did dig to see if there was, it was brutal cruelty and emptiness.

Certain individuals, were genuinely good people, everyone unfortunately and fortunately live very different lives and sometimes that is the precise factor that shaped them that way. Is it acceptable? Perhaps not so, but gradually those very same individuals will reveal themselves. They were longing for someone, anyone who would understand them enough to draw them out.

So, yes the two can co-exist. What I have described are hardly ideals, some of them are flaws, personally I look not for perfection in a man for perfection lacks depth, flaws make a person who they are. Scars speak more loudly than the sword that caused them, they have many more stories hidden within, if only one list

Sometimes we want to defy our gut feeling only to realize once heart broken "I just knew it from day one"!!!

Which is why one should never fail to listen to their gut feelings, their core, and thus to follow this pathway for it is more often than not, correct.

Generally on a whole, one should not judge another individual by what is shown on the cover.
Human beings, sometimes exists as complex layers, simply because one is not shown the entire book.
It does not gives us nor anyone the right to categorize a man for what he is, simply through assumption.

I'm a wine and dine romantic. Meaning a romantic gesture for me is an expensive restaraunt or an expensive gift. I really would prefer to not speak about romance. If I buy my woman a $ 5,000 ring, you can better believe she means something. If I have to actually say it out loud, it will be said out loud very rarely.

which comes first? the ring or your declaration of love?

Knowing me, the ring would definitely come first

maybe you should try the other way around and see how that works out. in fact...try changing your strategy up. you may find a genuine lady if you change the way you do things.

i know you like to wine and dine, roll out the red carpet, have lavish dates...but when you do this, you never find a woman whom you actually like, and i mean really like...not somebody you like due to convenience.

why don't you try not doing so much next time. instead of a five star restaurant on a first date, try something in between. instead of flaunting your assets, why dont you show them your personality. instead of giving them your money, why dont you give them a piece of you? a glimpse of who you are as a person. just try it...you may find results that are favorable

you know, i've heard of the wealthy testing out their possible candidates for romantic interests by taking them out to a place that is least expected that they would go to on a first date. like a dive bar, or a diner...just to see how their date reacts. if they act out and throw tantrums, that date may just be after something more materialistic. if they are pleasant and go with the flow, they make sure their next date is much better.

i mean you can do it your way, but i think you will get the same results every single time. or you can try a different approach, and see how that works out. whats there to loose?

Brutally cruel gold diggers would know how to play this game and the wealthy bachelors would not even fantom putting those ladies through such an approach only to know it would lead to nothing but failure to decipher, the false.

The thing with Venus in Virgo is that materialism is a genuine expression of love and character. They aren't really distinct. It's not like there's a lack of depth there, it's all genuine.

But change of routine is always good so I do agree with dimplez on that much.

Not really with V in V in the 8th house πŸ˜›

I could care less about materialism. I enjoy a good restaurant, of course, but if the person in front of me is vain... there's no second date.

A woman could marry herself to money alone, why do so with another individual who brings absolutely nothing to the table, much less a personality.

yeah thats a possibility. but some people dont know how to control their emotions, so if at that moment they happen to unravel...itll give some indication to what their true intentions are, IMO

gold diggers will dig gold regardless of where it is or who the person is, they have a goal..they are looking to achieve. aint nothing stopping them

That is true, I agree.
Although having observed gold diggers in action, some of them are surprisingly good at acting out genuine honesty (even though it may never match up to the real goods, they were mighty close), but then again they simply are very good in deciphering those victims who are more than willing to 'fall' into such predicaments, escapism?

Materialism doesn't always have to be about money. Simply about what's real and tangible. As in real support, real presence in someone's life. Things that are tied with emotion.

I think some words like "material" get such a negative connotation (unnecessarily so) that this conversations nearly always end up heading in the same direction.

When really it's more open to just have to accept people have different ways of achieving the same end.

Yes it's not very cool to talk about materialism in today's close minded society that is all about spirituality, death, rebirth, saving puppies, donating to charities to be a "sensitive" person et cetera... but that song and dance - unless it genuinely comes from someone's core beliefs - is just as empty and hollow and tastes like plastic.

All within how it is perceived and how the intent is carried across.
Otherwise materialism becomes nothing but material.
A fine line to walk, if it comes across in a positive form then it is what you had described, the possibilities, or everything else in which other posters have divulged, the negative form.

Why must individual exists between two extremes, as in cooking, one should never firmly use one spice, it is always a collective of a multitude of layers. As is the case here, one does not have to choose between emotion or logic, it should be a balance of the two. For both is required in order for a sane and healthy relationship to even foster. Fairly straight forward, really. We should need both in order to function, neither is better than the other. It simply is.

It is technically something we should find by ourselves, but yeah it's great when someone else comes into your life and gives you the drive to help you do all that.

If it is an unknown individual then it could represent many possibilities depending on the circumstances that happened within your dream.

Although what I was speaking of was in regards to an individual whom you know. At least such phenomenon has happened to me, a multitude of times, with close friends, romantic interests, family...each time verified by the other, sometimes they dreamt something similar to what I have, or dreamed the same evening as I have, sometimes they were a prediction/omen (both positive and negative), other times they proved to be yet another foreboding of D?j?? vu.
