Whatever. Instead of worrying about who is stronger or who is weaker, usually the strong women pay no mind and pave their own way, actually they prefer it this way. As a woman who is starting to get into the so called male dominated science field I welcome the challenge, that way I know when I do make it, it's because of my own efforts.

I read both articles and noticed the word competition. Approaching love and relationships in this way is flawed from the beginning. It's love, not a chess match. If everything has to be a challenge, what have you won? Their heart? Last I saw, a person can take that back. Also, people need to realize that accomplishments etc doesn't make you a good mate. I've seen plenty of men and women with money and masters degrees suck at love because instead of looking at the whole person they focus on what they don't have. The reason why men are griping is because of the apparent double standard. You want to be considered an equal but receive special treatment when it comes to love. Is it wrong to think that a woman should take a man out to dinner and pay as often as he does? That what men consider equal. It implies that you are willing to treat us the same way we treat you. As for equal pay, yes it is unequal and should not be. But that is on a large scale and may not apply to individual relationships. If both of you are making the same it near the same, why shouldn't all expenses etc be shared equally?

My generation was reared by those born at the turn of the century and their children. "Equality" ( said tongue in cheek..a woman ran the home and wielded power ) was viewed with a jaded eye, an interloper on a system that clearly defined gender roles. I am more than sure everyone knows my personal viewpoint on such matters. It is as it ever was, a man says he wants a strong woman. With his mouth. Presented with one, he flees. To turn things on my own sex, I firmly believe women have lost their way. I have nothing against expression of self and views but I think they've lost touch with the joy of simply being female. That has nothing to do with Max Factor or other.
I truly believe that some men hunger for a woman who embraces herself utterly sans all this raised fist in the air, wig throwing, head weaving girl power horse shit. No woman with power shouts about it, she simply is that woman. With a smile.

Women get paid less than men do because they do not and are not willing to work the longer hours that men do.

Just IMAGINE if the case was a 23 year old man going after 15 year old girls. He would be so far underneath the prison that he wouldn't be able to see daylight. LaFave got a PROBATION sentence, and never went to prison!

How about Casey Anthony? The girl who murdered her child? NO HARD TIME!!!!

I could go on and on, but will close with this.

There are some things that women handle better than men, and some things that men handle better than women. To those women out there who are trying to be something that they naturally are NOT, then stop. You are screwing up society with your arrogant and stupid ways, and YOU are the reason why many men are going to places like Russia to find a good wife. A woman who can handle the kitchen and take care of children is the ideal woman for most educated men. Educated men who can finance and support a family with their pay. Yes, it's okay if women work, but this crap about women being equal to men is absurd.
