I bought some Bitcoin about 2-3 years ago, but I also sold it when SHIBAInu was trending and BC was down. I may have some Bitcoin left in my wallet, but since I moved to EU I can’t access my crypto wallet for some reason.

It’s not much at all, maybe couple of hundred 💰

Unfortunately, I don’t have extra money to buy more. Otherwise I gladly would!

you're probably talking about an exchange wallet like binance or something else.

which is not your real wallet the crypto is not yours until you have an adress on the blockshain and the keys to it. It's a bit complex but this money that you have on exchanges are not yours and can disappear overnight.

You should find a way to access this bitcoin and withdraw it to your own wallet, because any amount of bitcoin will become very precious in the future.

The EU shithole is turning into a dictatorship and it will not last long, but might still be around for a couple decades, any off-grid solutions you can have are to be taken

My Bitcoin is in something called Coinbase. It’s an app, but it’s been a while since I used it. Now they want to confirm my identity and such. I need to see if I can verify it with my ID and then see what I can do with this Bitcoin. It’s not that much, but still. Maybe I should sell it and transfer to my bank account.

And I agree that EU is turning into a fascist dictatorship .

don't ever transfert money from crypto into bank accounts. They will accuse you of anything they can think of and steal the money.
Once you go crypto, there's no going back

So how can I actually get a hold of this money? Like I said it’s nothing much. PayPal maybe?

That's all well and good but, unfortunately, not everyone has $ 72,000 or more at the back of their sofa.

That's why I pointed out you can buy up to 8 decimal points. 5 dollars or 10 dollars if you want. It's past the point where most people can buy one. It was 15,500 at the beginning of 2023 when people should have been researching it. That's what's funny about the Dunning-Kruger effect of some posters here. We're about 3 years past questioning its validity. What to do now? You don't need a whole Bitcoin. 10 percent of one will still be worth a lot going forward.

I bought some at 15k, but not much, like 800 euros. I knew it could only go up, but it's very difficult to buy crypto from the EU

That's pretty good. That's like a 5X. European Central Bank has been trying to tamp down on Bitcoin because they control the money printer. Their disadvantage compared to the U.S. is that the dollar is the World's reserve currency. One thing that I've alluded to here is that when you hold your nation's currency, you allow them to steal from you when they print more money to cover the debt that they'll never pay off. Bitcoin, with its limited supply guards against that.

I also got to know how much you both put in to be up all that money in a week?

110k. Institutional money flooding in is what's different this time on a scarce, decentralized asset that no one controls that can't be corrupted. Why do you think the world's largest asset manager (Blackrock) and the world's 4th largest asset manager (Fidelity) are buying hundreds of millions a day? I can tell who's researched this and who hasn't. It passed the entire market value of silver in the last week to move into #8 in global assets behind entities such Gold, Google, Nvidia, and Saudi Aramco..and it's gaining on them fast. Market cap is currently 1.411 TRILLION. So it's not some risky dink thing that's going away comparable to anything in the past.

Nice, see I don't have that kind of money to put in and I'm not sure I would anyway. I'm not into that risk myself, I'd like to be able to buy the Dio and sell all day but I never figured it out. The Furr trade lasted 250 it was not some quirky dink thing.

I have other stuff with a higher upside but I just decided to say Bitcoin because it's pretty much a sure thing now that the largest investment firms in the world are buying at a rapid rate. They call that 'smart money' as opposed to the musings of your average dxper lol. Shib will probably do well in the short term.

There is an astrologer on YouTube who I follow who has been talking about it since 2017-2018. She “warned” her viewers to invest, invest, invest. Of course, since I’m an idiot like most people, I didn’t pay enough attention. I didn’t do it.

I seriously could have made some serious money in all these years. I am afraid it’s too late now.
It's still kinda early in some respects. I think a conservative estimate for Bitcoin is 150 to 250k by next year. There's almost no place to put your money without it inflating away so investing in scarce assets is the only way to go. All countries printed massive amounts of money at the start of Co-vid so the prices on things like rent and groceries have skyrocketed. Wages haven't kept up. Trying to help people here but it looks it's falling on deaf ears lol. Mystarshine gets it. Things are just starting to really take off so this next year is going to be really exciting.

It seems people would rather be cynical

for some reason.

I made a lot of money in a month, enough to buy a piece of land and I’m going to start another trade this week. Seems a good time to jump in. What’s life without a gamble?

Did you cash out entirely? Like it's in your bank now and you're gonna pay taxes on it?

Yes exactly .. my trade manager does weekly trades and then it’s transferred to the bank
so it’s like a taxable salary .

Good 👍

Yeah, that's the hardest part --> getting that 1st 100k to invest. That's enough to flip it into real money. Actually, the best strategy is the simplest one: buy and hold. Proponents have been holding 3 to 4 years for this exact moment. That's why I made a thread. It's happening and on a grander scale than most of us believed. I know the fur trade was a big deal. I have a history degree and am Native American. Our tribe traded sea Otter pelts with the Russians out of Fort Ross, CA way before migration westward. I was referring more to people that say Bitcoin will go away and lose all value. This video is pretty good (first 10 minutes) at showing how much money is flowing into Bitcoin to the point that in 6 months, if current rates continue, you won't be able to buy one..just a fraction of one. What will the price be then? I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around that possibility.

nah ETH is not functional because of gas fees. Plus the ETH team controls the blockchain and can do whatever they want with owners' wallets, they already did it in the past.

Most cryptos other than Bitcoin are unreliable and/or controlled

Monero is the only crypto currency, and usable.

Everything else is more along a line of a public ledger that lets governments see what you are doing. Right now they can't do that with cash. BITCOIN is an old NSA project, just like Google was, and all social media, fact checkers, and other popular websites. It's all an echo chamber. Believe it or not, this website is one of the very few left where you can write what you feel.

Yeah it'll go away eventually but maybe in 200 years, unless big buyers literally kill it on purpose. I'm looking forward to what happens when BTC goes up properly and hysteria sets in and people start piling in on random shit like shibu or whatever, thats when a broke ass like me has a chance at making something out of nothing. I've been sitting on a couple hundred worth of random coins for 2 years after that happened last time, idk how to pick anything though. Yeah I should probably try a broker to buy the dips or something.

Nice family history, I like listening to podcasts about that time it's always interesting

If it's controlled by the government, then it wouldn't exist unless they are gaining from it. If you can give one dumb fuck a million just to take 100 million from all the other dumb fucks then it's a good investment. I find it cursed by nature. The people who are deeply into Bitcoin come off a bit mentally unstable imo.

And what makes you think monero is not a NSA project? I've heard them brag a couple times that they couldn't break the monero obfuscation. Which I find extremely fishy since a secret agency generally doesn't brag about what they can't achieve.

In any case one should not put all their eggs in the same basket.

Love the comment section from today's New York Times article lambasting Boomers and dummies that can't wrap their head around why an incorruptible, scarce asset with a finite supply just reached an all-time and continues to go up.

"It’s as if collective overprinting of fiat currency has led people to look for an investment that can’t be inflated away by government spending."

"All the brilliant people who called Bitcoin a shell game and "see we told you." I followed a simple motto. Buy and hold. And behold 2 years later, my holdings are up 5 fold.

I don't want to crow, because none of us knows what tomorrow will bring - but today I feel I get to ask all the Bitcoin bashers and know-it-alls, how has your portfolio performed since 2022?"

WHY so many people thinking it does have value and SOME posting inane shit like 'so many millionaires happened after buying crypto'? Is this because people are...stupid?

I remember I wanted to mess with them and I said 'do you want me to pay MY dollars for your crypto?' and they said NO. I said ok, send me some and they said 'We need to charge you $ 10...I laughed and said you want my good $ 10 for your no good air and dreams? They hanged up...

No, people are stupid to put their money in non-appreciating assets like gold or to keep their money in cash which over 10 years will depreciate 70% . I love how people who have no idea what they're talking about act like they do without any reasoning at all. This will be funny when I refer back to this thread.

Dunning Kruger effect - "The Dunning-Kruger effect occurs when a person's lack of knowledge and skill in a certain area causes them to overestimate their own competence." Blackrock, the world's largest asset manager and Fidelity, the world's 4th largest asset manager are buying $ 1 Billion every day. That's what they call 'smart money" yet we have broke asses trying to assert here that they don't know what their doing lol.

It’s like a lot of things that people have no

knowledge of, they become consumed with fear or cynicism or both. If people could remain curious and not shut down, life would be some much more interesting and probably more profitable lol 😂

Perhaps ignorance is bliss after all lol

I think in general people can be resentful and maybe jealous when someone shows skills and knowledge in a particular area. You do encounter the odd one or two who are inspired by other peoples knowledge and success, but they’re few and far between

As we say here in Ireland, “leave them off”

What are you waiting for? It seems those who claim they became rich ARE already rich! Whatsup with you?

My ex bought $ 100 worth at the very beginning. It is worth $ 13 today! Dreamers...

That's why I don't make a lot of threads. I'd make one on Web3 or AI (both of which are coming fast) but imagine all the dumb responses if this thread is any indication lol. Bitcoin up 5x since the beginning of 2023 yet it's somehow a scam or ponzi. Institutions are buying 100's of millions a day. India and the UK approved their own ETF's in the last week. You only have to look at the metrics to see where this is going. This is gonna be hilarious when this all goes parabolic (it already is) in the next year and people were told but still couldn't see it as it passes them by.

makes me wonder what in the chart would make someone have a foolish way with money (constantly thinking of ways to spend it while getting scammed out of what they already have) like are there placements for that? 🤔🤔

Makes me wonder what in the chart makes someone suck up to the cringiest catfish on the site and then said Catfish posts their cringy PM's or what in the chart makes someone constantly move in with people after 2 weeks of knowing them? 🤔🤔

Its up 5x since the beginning of 2023? Or its up 10% since Nov 21.. or 6 months ago it was trading at just 40% of its all time high, having lost 60% of its value in a year

I have btc too but don't just pick and choose any time comparisons you want to suit your agenda

It crashed hard in 2021 (twice) and took well over 2 years to recover

I want it to go up too but stop talking like people are idiots for not buying it. It is volatile and some people have lost a lot of money in crypto, as well as it being largely unregulated and people having their funds stolen and so on..

https://blockworks.co/news/bitcoin-etf-inflows-price-rally.

Assets under management within BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) stands at about $ 15 billion following fund’s record day. The 10 US spot bitcoin ETFs collectively shattered their daily net inflow record Tuesday as more than $ 1 billion of investor assets entered the funds.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) was again the category standout, notching an all-time high daily inflow total of $ 849 million, according to BitMEX Research data.

The Ark 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) and the VanEck Bitcoin Trust contributed above-average flows of $ 93 million and $ 83 million, respectively

I was just thinking since we're on the topic like what if you woke up and a family member/SO/friend got scammed out of a lot of money? Would it affect your trust in them?

Like sure you'd still love and support them but would that affect the level of trust you have for them when it comes to decision-making?

And what sign energies would be very messy with finances?

I should prob just make a thread.

Gemini, Scorpio, Sag, Capricorn, in a weird way Taurus.

But just because they are "messy" with money does not mean they won't get rich. Actually the most messy people with money have the biggest potential to make the most. Women will never understand that, and never "support" it. Look at Andrew Carnegie. How many times he lost it by going super "messy", until he won so much it was not possible to lose.

on another note, all those crypto "hype" men are all Aquarius almost: Michael Sailor, Etherum owner, XRP owner, etc. I find Aqua weirdly smart, but super overrated and I never ever trust them with money, or a single word they say.
