And that's the beauty in this site.

It amazes me how sides are taken here. I often step back and take a look at myself to see if I'm doing the same thing in ways I don't even realize. There are definitely people I favor here, and many whom I don't care much for, but I'd like to think of myself as rather objective. I never take arguments personally to the point where I'm never talking to you again because we had it out. If I agree with you, I'll say it. If I find something you said funny, I'll laugh. If I enjoy a topic you're discussing, I'll join in...whether or not I called you a slut bitch 3 days ago. Same thing goes for people I like. If I disagree with you, I'll say so, if you say something stupid, I'll call you on it, etc.


But...do I subconsciously find it easier to agree with those that I like? And at the same time, find it harder to agree with people I dislike? I wonder

Not even just with the whole Eden situation, I see this happen a lot and I sit here with my jaw touching my keyboard. It baffles me how favoritism, or lack there of, can really skew one's judgement...and I see it even with people I thought were rational beings.


Its like, a persons motivations can be SO obvious, and yet, just because you guys share a lot in common, or have formed a bit of a friendship, or even more common...the person is always nice to you....their true intentions become totally lost on you.

MsP, i'm an equal opportunity hater as well. sure, there are some people i like and give the benefit of the doubt more than others but for the most part, i'm too old (50-something apparently) to take shit personal so everything and everyone gets a pass. i don't care what they say, how they say it, how often they say it...you have to be one righteous tool to get on my official shit list.

satori and i had a run in....it was a beaut. but she's like, normal. the issue was the topic, not the person. i don't hate her because she likes little wees. we disagree, we move on. we'll agree/disagree in the future. children don't starve because we can't come to an accord.

so where i agree that i may give some people an instant pass...like AA and TOC can't do shit wrong at this point, you two, VB, prince, q-bone, tate, hell even meg who i found out was cool as shit today (and others), i would hope that if i never knowed ya or had a run in with ya that the past is the past and now is now. the future will be.

what i don't get is someone i have NEVER uttered two words to coming at me hard on a personal level. as if they know me. now those mofos will get squashed and there's little to no redemption after that.

Some of the shit people will bring up here about you when in an argument will amaze you. People do their research, granted its usually faulty, but people talk about people in PMs here ALOT from what I've gathered, and they'll bring up that info whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Like the stuff that was said about my dad (mom) in jail...Eden wasn't even here when I said that...nor was she here when I said most of the stuff she has tried to throw in my face...and yet, she half ass knows about it. I agree, but sometimes it is ignorant to not realize that your delivery affects how people interpret what you say, so if your goal is to get someone to understand your POV, you must be able to speak their language. Bottomline.

Unless of course, you don't care about people understanding you.
