I think it all comes down to personal preferences, any color can look nice, you just need to adjust the details to make it look great. I also like the butterscotch color....

But I'd bring the shade down a few notches...

And for shutters, idk I've always been partial to black or dark colors, gives it a very classic feel imo. Idk why but it makes me feel like the house is saying
"hey someone important is living inside me bitches!"

the house is saying

lol

Agree-- dark shutters.

see idk, but I think I would a lot darker on that particular house, to make it stand out from the rest of the property.

I feel like the first one is trying to tell me "please excuse the crayola art on my hallway walls", and the second one says "I got a crystal chandelier in my master bath."

Lol, I see what you mean now..I would also darken the bricks with stain so they don't look so washed out and faded.

Houses here are like 50% brick and 50% siding. And these people across the street have really bright red brick, and they were repainted their siding a really bright yellow. And it made me so sad! And you add in the green ass grass and it made me want to throw up in my mouth a little bit.

I knew what bank she worked at, so for a whole day I thought about writing her an email to explain to her why she was so wrong, and giver her some better color ideas. But from my first impressions I kinda thought she was a bitch, so it probably wouldn't go over well.

I still have to look at it every day. 😢 My Venusianess hate looking at ugly! its so ugly.

I still haven't figured out my colors. I love this house, but, is it too much?

too much color? too much red?

I like the greenish gray color, with beige/cream colored trim, and I like the red ... but, is it too much red?

Eventhough the houses nearby are yellow, I went with a similar color anyway.

The house body got painted Camelback

and the shutters got painted Bourdeaux red

But, I still haven't figured out a color for the front door.

black?
