I think it all comes down to personal preferences, any color can look nice, you just need to adjust the details to make it look great. I also like the butterscotch color....
But I'd bring the shade down a few notches...
And for shutters, idk I've always been partial to black or dark colors, gives it a very classic feel imo. Idk why but it makes me feel like the house is saying
"hey someone important is living inside me bitches!"

see idk, but I think I would a lot darker on that particular house, to make it stand out from the rest of the property.
I feel like the first one is trying to tell me "please excuse the crayola art on my hallway walls", and the second one says "I got a crystal chandelier in my master bath."

I still haven't figured out my colors. I love this house, but, is it too much?
too much color? too much red?
I like the greenish gray color, with beige/cream colored trim, and I like the red ... but, is it too much red?
