.....And the kids I was in school with usually waited until the weekend to smoke pot.

Kids today, however, smoke pot on a Wednesday morning at 9 AM.

My best friends mother, and one of my close friends i grew up with OD on heroin. Just recently too, my friends mom Carmen she was older. Like 40's when she passed in 2006, and Ashley was only about 28. Died last year Taken too young 😢

Because doctors tell everyone that they have issues and medicate them instead of forcing them to deal with life in the natural way.
And as for street drugs.. well look at the world.. they are just acting as their own doctors and medicating themselves so that they don't have to deal with it.

Drugs are a mask, that is all.

I am not certain how often other nations do this, but many Americans consume opioids through prescriptions over less than necessary reasons.

Until the 1990s, people could not get their hands on opioids unless they had cancer or some other form of terminal illness.

These days, people are given opioid prescriptions after having dental surgery or some other minor pain related medical procedure.

Opioids have seriously addictive properties, because they alter the brain chemistry after just a few minor exposures to it.

Once the brain is dependent on opioids, it is an extremely difficult addiction to break free from.

This is why so many people are turning to heroin today. It is the less expensive opioid-based high that they are hooked on from the other opioids their brains became addicted to.

I am an advocate of anti-psychotic medication and anti-depressants if they improve the mood and behavior of the person in a more positive direction.

This is especially true for anti-psychotic medication.

Before the advent of that particular type of medicine, psychotic Schizophrenic people would tear pictures off of walls and attack people at random.

This is why they used to give people lobotomies at psychiatric hospitals. Joe Kennedy eventually decided to lobotomize his daughter Rosemary over her violent behavior at the Kennedy home.

Thankfully, the anti-psychotic medications act as a neurological-chemical stabilizer, and the psychotic person has the decreased chance of becoming violent at random.

Well, it seems as though we have two basic choices with Schizophrenics and other psychotic people who are prone to violence.

1.) Let them be that way, and endure the slog of life with them.

2.) Get them on some medication that stabilizes their tendencies toward violence.

I do not believe in the lobotomy procedure, and it's not really practiced anymore (at least not legally).
