CRIME PAYS - BUT IS THE DXPIL EXPERIMENT PAYING OFF?
Time has flown through to the first season of the DXP Intuition League almost as quickly as the years flew by since hit-show creator Nights turned his middle finger towards Tinseltown, leaving a legendary career as an awards show-runner and daytime tv screenwriter, taking refuge in 'semi-retirement' to his nest in the Rockies.
We knew he'd be back on our screens, eventually, but not many people predicted this. Out of the mountain range came a project he insisted was the 'missing remote armchair fans had been waiting for', but everyday sports experts insisted was the DXPIL was just an expensive way to blow his royalty checks from the evergreen Miscellaneous Network's re-runs of hit soap opera 'Afternoon Delights'.
In any case, we know now what the DXPIL Owner and Founder parlayed the larger part of his league budget on; the inaugural regular season of the Intuition League comes to a close and two stars have emerged before the playoffs begin in earnest.
POINTS AND STARES - FIRST SEED IS PLANTED - GETMISTED WINS GOLDEN BALL
Rumours refuse to die about whether Nights turns his head the other way, when it comes to in-season eggplant enhancement drug testing of eventual DXPIL Golden Ball winner @GetMisted , star man and MVP for the Scorpio Sun Stares team.
GetMisted's focus turns to seedy rumours of a different kind, as he uses his number 1 playoff season entry card to make an assault on the eventual DXPIL crown.
For now, the Stares franchise bags the first ever DXPIL 14 carat golden ball and thanks their MVP for bringing home the custom-eggplanted gold.
CULT FOLLOWING TO AVOID CUTS
The DXPIL has gradually moved from the ignominy of taped shows on weekends to mid-week live TV slots, building a steady cult following that may just take the franchise into a second season in rude health. Nights lavished yet another trophy in the spirit of survival, before ducking off to DXPIL HQ offices and refusing to comment on whether this was eating into the league's budget to the point where foreign investment becomes an inevitability.
Will the second season see new names such as the Wang Mart Arena, forcing the league franchise into sponsorship deals to survive?
"I pay you guys to write the fucking promotions, not ask me moronic questions," was the last murmur erupting from behind the double doors of Nights' office at HQ. His assistant warded us away from any further on-record interviews with the standard party-line: "I can only confirm that he's the only nice person left on DXP and it's been a pleasure to work for the league this year."
The league's survival came from the marathon-like player of the Cancer Sun Crime franchise - @Scruffles, herself putting together a unique 30+ game regular season commemorated with the DXPIL Titanium ball.
"There'll never be another trophy like it," a league spokesperson confirmed as the party lights dipped down low into 'Crime Red' in the HQ offices on our way out the door. "We just wanted something to send off Season 1 and the Crime certainly paid off big when they poached Scruffles from the Aquarius Moons mid-season."

Here are the rules again so ask a question now or forever hold your peace (tho i will be away making videos and may not answer right away)
PLAYOFF Info and Rules:
Part 1:
-This will be a 5 game series meaning the team to win 3 out of 5 games wins the series.
-There will be a new game every day
-Each “game” will consist of 5 questions.
-Each question is worth 1 point to the winner of the question
-The person with the most points wins that Game
-If there is a tie there will be an overtime “sudden death” question to decide the winner (the home team will answer)
Part 2:
Each game will have a “home team.” The higher seeds gets more home games and therefore controls their own destiny.
Game 1: Higher Seed Home Game
Game 2: Lower Seed Home Game
Game 3: Higher Seed Home Game
Game 4(If necessary): Lower Seed Home Game
Game 5 (If necessary): Higher Seed Home Game
*In each game the home team will get to answer 3 out of the 5 questions. While the away team will answer the other 2 questions.
There will be a time limit on how long each team has to answer their questions before handing it over to the other team to answer. This time limit will be given during the games.
I will ask each games questions the day before they are to happen.

Lately I wake up around 5 am EST and sleep around midnight EST, sometimes earlier around 10-11 pm. Long distance "romance" plays havoc with sleeping patterns.

No the home team will see all 5 questions and answer 3 of them. Then the away teams answer the remaining 2
Its the same kind of questions maybe some slightly different but mostly the same
and you will have hours to respond and/or study
