Last season, the Gemini Moon Magic made DXPIL history when they went on a crazy 7 game win streak to get them into the playoffs and win their first playoff game...
But for the second time this season that record is in danger by the top team in the league, the Scorpio Rising Stingers. With 1 more win in a row The Stingers will tie that 7 Game win streak record and are 2 wins in a row away from breaking it and continuing their plan to be the most dominant franchise in the DXPIL!

But the Blues defense is shutting them down regardless
Sheesh Flyers just totally outplayed the Blues for 20 straight minutes, but did not score
Idk if this is a good sign for Flyers that eventually they will wear down the blues and get some goals
or if it is a good sign for the Blues who got lucky and escaped that period and will now take out a frustrated Philly team

I think CSN's is my favourite super-serious theme, second only to the first ever DXPIL intro vid music

and I realize the Avalanche coach is a rookie head coach in the NHL and it has only been 6 months...but they better call up Claude as this is their worst season ever 😡

He's a good coach. Bruins have missed playoffs the last two seasons but still have a chance this season so I think the team got trigger happy with that firing.

NHL scheduling is mad. Make a team play in Washington then make them drive to play in Canada 24 hours later.I think about all the whining that football coaches do over here when their team has to play 2 games 3 days apart.
They changed the divisions a few years back to supposedly cut on the travelling time by having teams in the same time zones....but then they do all these interdivisions games after the division games so it really doesnt help
Plus then the two florida teams were always gonna be screwed
and then they go and put 3 canadian teams with 4 south western US teams
But at least they protected their precious teams in the metropolitan division

As the beginning of this season in the German Bundesliga, one coach was saying the league was rigging the whole thing for Bayern Munich by scheduling another team to play on a Friday after they'd just played midweek in European competition on a Tuesday. Which was the first time it'd ever happened, so they had a point. But even a German team flying across Europe and back home over that amount of days... I'm wagering is probably the same or less miles than travelling across North America.

Tho I would think that a football game is more physically exhausting because they play longer and dont get the added help of skates with their running
Tho the footbal players dont get crushed against the board tho either so theres that lolol

Lolol if they spent less time diving they might save a lot of wear and tear in football as well
We also don't have unlimited substitutions in-game but FIFA is considering changing that. I think they're doing whatever to try and catch up with the kind of money that North American sports make.

Ah yeah thats another thing I didnt think off. Cuz with all the different lines in hockey, each player is only playing 20 to 30 actual minutes a game. Unlike where I'm sure most football players are playing most of the 90 minutes
