From what I've seen so far I like the Sharks, Kings and Ducks - three West Coast teams
Also see a lot of potential in the Red Wings coming back to glory some time soon and NJ Devils, both have some really exciting individual players but look like one-man teams for now (sometimes I like that the most but it's just masochistic to support teams you know are going to lose painfully - i do that enough in football).

If they dont there will probably just be teams Ill root for by default because I want teams like Minnesota and Chicago to lose
Sharks had this great series with the Nashville Predators in last years playoffs in which one of the games the goalies just turned on a light switch at the end of the game and it ended up going to 3 overtimes since there are no shoot outs in the playoffs. One of the best hockey games ever. Those saves were ridiculous
But even tho I was rooting for Nashville, Sharks won the series and earned my respect. I rooted for them in the Stanley Cup buttttt the Penguins won

In Overtime its usually just a center, a wing and a defensemen + the goalie
where normally its center, 2 wings and 2 defensemen + goalie

NFL really does need to change their OT
I think NHL's change is for the best tho because OT is only 5 minutes in the regular season anyway and then a shoot out so its 5 minutes of fast paced hockey
