Fun fact: In 2003 Michel Therrien was fired from Montreal...and replaced with Claude Julien.

I was reading about rumours of him going to the Vegas franchise last week and they said Julien's an expensive guy. I didn't know Toronto had the highest paid coach in the league. For all that money, Maple Leafs should be making the playoffs?

Yes Mike Babcock was the crown jewel of Detroit. Until last year with his first year in Toronto he did make the playoffs every year with Detroit. Toronto has been such a messy place for so long tho he does have his work cut out for him. They have the longest drought in the NHL of winning a championship/

It's kind of the same with Cagliari in Italian football. They're not the only team from Sicily off the mainland, Palermo is there too. But everyone likes Palermo whereas Cagliari call themselves the Isolani "isolated" which just makes them sound pitiful.
