Posted by tizianiYeah if there is a penalty in overtime they go to 4 on 3 rather than 3 on 2 which does kill the excitement of 3 on 3 but I think they do that because 3 on 2 is almost a guaranteed goal for the powerplay team so they still try and keep it competitive
What I find weird is if a team gets a penalty jn OT, they go back to 4 vs 5 on the ice for the powerplay which makes the 3 vs 3 thing kind of pointless.
I like that OT is 3 v 3 though. It's a different style and really feels like sudden death end to end stuff.
