Anyways, I think one reason I haven’t really been able to get sucked into watching regular season hockey is that for the past 20 years or so the Sharks have been consistently good (just not good enough to get over the hump lol) so the regular season doesn’t seem to have high stakes since half the league makes the playoffs. I just tune out until the playoffs because that’s when it’s the best and really starts to matter. That doesn’t matter if you just enjoy watching hockey though and if I stick with it I know I’d get past that
Yeah that is true that so many teams make the playoffs. Tho that is what makes the first 2 rounds of the playoffs so good. I can def see why that would hinder the hockey addiction. Unless your team is always teetering on making the playoffs or not

I’m no expert but the Bruins seem like they’re at least playing solid hockey, Dallas seemed to have the upper hand early in the game but the Bruins have been lookin alright ever since. Dallas hangin in there tho
I would say Bruins have been playing better hockey since the 2nd period started for sure

One thing I like about hockey is that the scoring is rare enough for it to be exciting when someone scores, but common enough for it to be possible to come back, similar to baseball but even lower scoring. Like in soccer if you go down 2-0 near the end of the game it’s most likely over, but teams can get hot in hockey and come back easier it seems
