If you offered your friend some guacamole and chips, and they politely decline... You asked them this infront of their boyfriend - didn't offer the boyfriend any, and not because you didn't want to, but because he's a grown ass man and "closed mouths don't get fed".

So if she didn't take the offer, he should have said something and took the offer when you offered it in that exact moment.

So you like cool, I guess I'll just go fuck myself... I tried to share, now I don't have to. These are all mine.

You eat a handful and go take a nap.

You wake up and you see your friend and her boyfriend in the kitchen... You are headed to the kitchen because you got snacks in that mothafucka.

You say what's up and then immediately

discover that the WHOLE fucking family size bag of chips are GONE, and a single tub of guacamole is GONE.... (I bought two tubs).

You like damn, who ate my fucking chips? Your friend tells on her BOYFRIEND right infront of him, and mentions a tub a of guac is gone too.

So you left with one tub of guacamole and no fucking chips.... What the fuck am I supposed to do with this? Just eat it by itself I guess... Nah, fuck you for that.

He says "my bad"... Fuck do you mean, "my bad"?? That's it— Fuck I'm supposed to do with "my bad"?

I didn't tell your goofy ass you could have any, and then you supposed to ask somebody before you touch their shit.

So why not offer yo get me some more chips, or give me a few dollars... You wasted my money and my time, I just bought that shit a few hours ago.

Ever since we all began to live together... I HAVE ALWAYS ASKED before I touched ANYTHING.

Food, dishes, clothes, products, etc... I ALWAYS ASK.

He brought some chicken patties home yesterday night, the same day.

I ASKED could I bake a couple patties... Because I understand HE brought those groceries home and not me. EVEN IF I DID HELP HIM BRING THEM UPSTAIRS, WHEN HE WAS SITTING IN HIS CAR TOO LAZY TO BRING THEM UP - BECAUSE HE WAS TRYING TO "FIGURE OUT HOW TO BRING EVERYTHING UP AT ONCE". I would be a real McAsshole if I helped myself to some shit he brought home without asking him.

I'm always asking, I'm always making sure my boundaries are in check.

I do this because I don't want anyone to feel DISRESPECTED.

I FELT DISRESPECTED.

I know it's small.... I KNOW it's not that big of a deal.

But it's about RESPECT.

How could someone feel so BOLD and WELCOMING to eat somebody's shit up like that without asking??

Next time just ask. I always ask y'all for stuff, I would think ya'll would do the same. Let's just keep that respect.

And I said "y'all" in the confrontation, because my friend sat there and let him eat that shit... She didn't stop him and say "go ask before you do that ". Grown ass people. A damn shame.

He owes you a new bag of chips and good you said something about them needing to ask. Roommates can be rough with boundaries.
