i didn't know ted bundy was smart
He barely passed and it was a night school lol
He dropped out because was too hard.

He wasn’t intelligent and lacked basic capacity to self regulate as well as understand emotion in others or himself...
You can sit in a library and enter any program you want— that isn’t a sign of intelligence. The fact that he lacked basic understanding of social and emotional cues in others is actually a huge indicator that he struggled with linking conceptual thoughts with empathetic thoughts.
Lawyers are typically very skilled at reading these aspects in others to rationalize arguments and motive. He lacked the very basic skills of learning about others...
If he had to open himself to others he’d realize he was very much left behind. Left behind socially and in school and in life in general...he had a very hard time adapting to becoming a man— thus his fascination with women of a certain age- an age when he last felt hopeful before the reality of his lack of intelligence was proven to him in post secondary.
His high school grades were very poor although his constant honing of an image — nerdy (he wasn’t actually smart).
He went to a community college and took part time classes and eventually failed courses and left.
IMO he had undiagnosed ADHD with Bipolar Disorder and a possible split personality.
Others perception of him is what he cared about the most while showing no emotion to others. He was competitive with his siblings and friends and acquaintances and by the way his mother spoke about him, she instilled a huge sense of ego and his confidence was always linked to others approval. In a sense it was this grooming and expectation that he should be the best— was part of his huge downfall. He couldn’t achieve any goals and that hunger for power and control is directly related to what he did to those young women.
There’s no way he could have passed the bar or actually practices law. Not only was he irrational in court but he used those moments in court to put on an act to gain approval and laughs—-like how young children act out to gain attention.
High key: any man that practices necrophilia with decomposing bodies of women he’d previously decapitated isn’t really intelligent if you ask me. The fact that he’d keep going back to these dead bodies to have sex with them while decomposing and would only stop when the body had become too mutilated by wild animals..... 🤮
He got pleasure from demoralizing a human to the point where they were mutilated flesh..... that’s where he felt pleasure.

Reasoning for split personality is that he would rarely remember his murdering sprees. He would go into this tunnel of fight or flight and would become enraged....this lasted hours.
He has to form a split personality at some point in order to mentally cope with what he was doing to these women.
He’d intially plan an attack in his main personality as a way to subdue his obsession with women and wanting to feel powerful.
He’d snap into an alternate personality in order to carry out what he needed to do which is why one of the survivors said his eyes completely dilated and he became something different....
Him returning to locations where he buried these bodies in shallow graves was a way to re-enact that sense of power. He tried to replay it because he’d forget details of what he’d done in his alternate personality.
Thus him returning routinely to these dead bodies.
Also: he rarely raped them while they were alive.
Don’t glorify someone just because they tried to become a lawyer and pretended they were smart.
His basic intelligence was at a grade 9-10 level which is probably when his split personality was formed.

I don’t think you get that the qualifications for that degree program were very low.
It was different back in the 60s and 70s and as long as you attended lectures and tried- you were passed.

Which is why when he approached women and women sensed he was off— he became enraged. He couldn’t fool women romantically.

Yes and it was very different back then. We are talking 50- 60 years ago. Late 60s, early 70s. There was no social media no internet, hell there wasn' even FBI criminal behaviorist yet- that all stemmed from killers like Bundy, Kemper, Ridgeway. So no you can't say this is a new thing in history- it's just more access to hear about it. Shit look at Jack the Ripper.

Yeah ....there is a survivor ...she said he had been watched her .....she said just the day before she got a drastic hair cut ....

That happened many times ....then he would go out meet another woman ..and the 'killer' lust would be aroused in that situation or by that girl and he would kill
