In all seriousness, I've never heard of this. I'm guessing it's probably not a common thing but some insecure dude is spreading it around like it is. I have heard some guys wonder about it and think it's really cool to be able to make life. Women don't "create" life. Life is in the egg, as much as in the sperm. They are alive!
The rest is biology. The embryo/fetus has its own life (since it is made of living cells) and greedily feeds on its host's through an invasive mass of cells called placenta.
The embryo/fetus triggers biological functions to protect it from being attacked by its host (mother)'s immune systems, the same system that would kill cancer cells. This is because the embryo/fetus is an "alien" to its host (being partially made of gene/proteins from a different person: its father).

But when she was born it was something special, I definitely cried a bit. So while I don't understand the pregnancy part, man I get the being born part.

I don‘t think there is such a thing buuuut my husband was kinda jelly when I was pregnant with our son. He said that he is so jealous of me because I can feel the baby‘s movement, hick ups, kicks, turns etc all the time and that this bond that I already share with the baby is just very beautiful. I definitely understand what he means, just laying hand on a belly and feel the movement sometimes isn‘t the same as carrying your baby inside your own womb and feeling how it‘s alive and healthy.
But that doesn‘t have anything to do with „womb envy“ imo 🤷🏻♀️ He said the same when I breastfed our son that it‘s such a beautiful and very heartwarming thing to be able to provide nurturing and food for the baby with your own body. It‘s a miracle and very beautiful if it works.

I wasnt even with the Aqua and he would take care of my giant ass. Help me to my feet, carry stuff around, make sure I was okay.
It’s wasn’t womb envy, it was respect. He understands the physical and emotional toll and gave me support in that moment.
