I'm proud I voted for him.
And I haven't noticed any animosity towards me.

Posted by SoulThats because conservatives are pussies
Well the people who go after you and constantly call everyone racist, oppressors, and bitch about everything did more for trump winning then he ever did himself.

Damn...that's a lot of pussies to grab.

Posted by fugu2Or the actual blame
I live in a blue state, so nobody gave me shit about voting for Gary.
If you're in a swing state tho...yea, people will misplace the blame on you rather than on the appropriate people: those who actually voted for Trump.

Trump isn't a Republican.

JFC I just typed "one" not "won".
See what voting for the stoner does?

Posted by AfternoonDelights22I always thought he should have run 3rd party. He did take 20% of the independent vote which is huge for a Republican.Posted by Haretrue

Posted by AfternoonDelights22I was actually watching MSNBC the night of the election, so I was very aware of her feelings towards third-party voters as the night dragged on. I never imagined I would encounter so many like-minded individuals in my day-to-day life though. It's a verbal scathing out here :OPosted by HareRachel Maddow would try and cut your balls off if she knew

Posted by ShadowcatThanks! I'm not ashamed at all! I don't feel the need to hide who I voted for when people ask me. I'm simply disappointed at the reaction I'm receiving from people who I thought were tolerant and open-minded. I consider myself conservative-leaning, and I honestly would have expected such nasty reactions from Trump supporters had he lost. But from the left? Well, this is my first time voting in an election, so there is plenty for me to learn and experience, I suppose
Don't be ashamed of voting third party. Both nominations were awful imo. Hillary fucked herself.
Posted by HareInteresting. Looks like they're more mature over in your area :/
Indianapolis. In a solidly democratic district. I also work in an office full of female attorneys.

Posted by julietteYes, we did. At the time that I went to vote, we had four options: Hillary Clinton 🍹, Donald Trump (R), Gary Johnson (Libertarian), and Jill Stein (Green). I heard there were a couple more options, but oddly enough they only showed these four options on my ballot.Posted by WallFlower422

so you had a third option? sorry not from usa. but yes, you voted for someone else.
nobody here wanted to explain me the situation.

Posted by julietteLol I didn't intend for that cocktail to show up- I'm not familiar with the code for emojis and all that. But, while I realize that it is exceedingly difficult for the U.S. to become a multi-party nation, I still reserve my right to vote for whichever candidate that I believe best represents my ideals. And if enough of those kinds of voices are heard, perhaps more third party ideas will be incorporated by either of the two governing bodies. Maybe that's a little too idealistic, I don't know.Posted by WallFlower422Posted by julietteYes, we did. yeah ok, usually it all boils down to two options, but like i said, it hasn't to be that way, choosing between 2 evils. i think i heared about jill and she was cool if she was the one. i'll google her. sorry

Posted by AmandusThanks for the encouragement 🙂 I just wish fellows on the left would take a moment for introspection, to think about what might have gone wrong on their end. The fact that they are scapegoating the loss on third party votes (to me) speaks volumes as to the failures on Clinton's end to rake in the votes that she should have had. I believe somewhere north of 15 million less liberals/Democrats came out to vote for her than they did for Obama 8 years ago.
I think people who voted third party, especially those who voted for Harambe should hold their heads high. You have exercised your right to vote and said, "I do not like either of our two main candidates and I think this current system is shit".
I am proud of you.
Also, I am no mathematician but judging from the end result map wouldn't it make a lot more sense to say that had more of the electoral votes gone to third party then Hillary could have won? Just something to point out to the liberals who are so angry at third party voters...

Posted by DivaCanLeoThe Aleppo crap again. He confessed he blanked and when he realized Syria and the regime change he went into it. I prefer his honest gaffe than Hillary's bombing of that region.Posted by Aquistormhe didnt' know where Aleppo was. He's a pothead.
