I saw The Notebook. Pretty good.
Still, its not better than Moulin Rouge. Can't believe I haven't seen that movie until recently.
ok, moulin rouge was a flop when it came out and no, i have not seen the notebook and based on that horrid kiss, i will never be seeing the notebook.

Suit yourself I guess.
You like Twilight?
pfft!
i only cry in private. in the presence of humans i might shed a tear or two but will try to wipe the tear away when i know it's "safe" and no one will see me.
and seriously, that is the ugliest kiss ever. admit it!
and no jason. i dont like twilight and shall never be seeing it.
movies like that i refuse to get wrapped up in. i didn't see the matrix until like 3 or 4 years after it came out.
Lol about the same here with the matrix. Can't remember.
dont get me wrong, i loved the martix trilogy. also loved v for vendetta which is by the bros too. but if a movie has a lot of hype surrounding it, i will either see it late or wait to see it at home where i can really enjoy it.
i refused to see harry potter in the movie theatres. aint no franchise getting THAT much money out of me. there are gonna be like 10 of them bitches before it's all said and done. f' that.
I think 8 movies for Harry Potter. Any more and I'm not watching the rest.
1st book, 2nd book, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th part 1, and 7th part 2. There shouldn't be any more than that.
let us pray...
I don't think its stupid. It got more kids into reading and it really gets the imagination going.
I didn't read the last book though. I just read spoilers...=/
lol 🙂
if they're anything like the movies, just shoot me now. the plot was the same in every freakin film. the minister of dark magic or whatever has been fired or turned out to be crazy and he/she must now be replaced.
so seriously, by like year 3 at the school, they should've like retired that position. i mean CLEARLY whoever takes that job is gonna try and kill somebody.
No they're not like the movies. The movies left out a lot of good stuff.
I felt like I was missing out on something in nearly all the movies.
and i agree jason, it did get kids reading more but sweet valley high was my joint growing up. i loved the books and it didn't take me long to figure out that the first 10-15 pages of every book is a reintroduction of the characters. i mean AS IF i didn't know that elizabeth and jessica were twins and blondes and one was studious and the other one is popular 😛
god i miss reading those books. i wonder if they still write them?
The movie Serendipity
^never sawed it. although i think it looks less horrid than the notebook.
ok valeria, never sawed that either but i like that dude. he played in a movie where he got in a car accident and lost his long term memory. i liked that one and when he was on 3rd rock.
prince, your movie pass has officially been revoked! glitter?!?!?!
yeeeaaaaaaaa, i don't like gwen. i mean her name is "gwen." just say that name aloud..."gwen"
*icks*
WAIT! i think i did see emma. was she like a math genius or something?
HA!
i can't remember what movie made her famous? she's not ugly but i agree, something about the way she acts that comes across as snotty. like you just wanna get up and bitch slap her to see if it snaps her out of it...probably wouldn't tho.
YEP! that's it 🙂 proof. i knew i saw her in some film. i liked it too. wasn't my fave but was enjoyable.
i also didn't know they remade dr. z.
and maybe i read emma? or planned on reading emma? dont remember the deets though.
ok, that's a first 🙂 i thought it was her acting. you hate her hair stylist. damn shame.
^count of monte cristo...love the book and the movie
yeah, the older guy...loved him. was really sad when he died. he actually made harry potter enjoyable.

My Gemini x-g/f was NOT a chic flick fan but this movie got her bawling EVERY TIME lol.

OMG it's a gay thing. My gay bff loves Little Mermaid. He says it's the story of his life too... Lol.
He used to make me sing "a whole new world" with him.
Shit. That's what I meant. Thanks
They kind of have similar story-lines too if you think about it
i love the little mermaid. classic!
*i want to be where the people are...
i want to see, want to see them dancing...
walking along down those...
what do you call them?*
ok, i may have gotten the words wrong but whatever, i love it!
I love that fucking seagull & that awful squawk he makes.

>ppppffffffftttttttttt
My mom says Little Mermaid was my favorite as a kid but I disagree, I always liked Cinderella.
& Lion King...because you get to sing African in the beginning. Lol and say MUFASA, best word everrrr
little mermaid is my fave! it was the last disney movie before pixar if i think. they modeled ariel after a human being. it was the first "human" cartoon.
mosters inc is my fave pixar
happy feet...i just love it. all the better because of brittany murphy
'Onegin'
'As Good As It Gets'
'Terms of Endearment'
'Pride and Prejudice'
'Love Actually'
My favourite was sleeping beauty and my first disney ever....
the reason im like the little mermaid is cos I come froma small country town and I always wanted to be where the people are and wanted to see them dancing like ariel when she sings the song
and one time i went away to sydney without my mum knowing cos my friends were going to mardigras and I went with them and got lost and they had to go back the next day cos theyre parents didnt know
so i was stranded without money and I was staying with a friend of a freind I barely knew so I had one week to stay cos she was going to europe. I was determined to stay down there because I loved the clubs and the nightlife.....but I knew I only had a week to establish myself there otherwise id be on the street or even worse go back and face my mum *ursula* lol...anyways i found myself my first boyfriend in about 4 days and ended up living with him..
and yeh ...the end
VB I loveddddddd Pride & Prejudice
🙂 It's a great movie. Firth is my ultimate hands down Darcy.
I ♥'Sweet Home Alabama' too.
Ohhh 'Sweet Home Alabama', I — that movie!
Lol @ suck hole love life
(I'm laughing with you)
I'll have to look that one up Bella, I've not seen it before. 'Love Actually' is one of my favorites too, it just encompasses everything from unrequited to loss.
yeh i like pride and predjudice too
^the red violin...AWESOME!
hmm...i dunno. i will ponder on the notebook but i don't think i want to see those two kissing so not on my "must see" list.
the painted veil sounds good. just reading valeria's description makes me wanna throw something.
the red violin was AWESOME! i'm partial to the instrument so a film about one is heaven. when they reveal the secret behind it it's so beautiful. and kasper's story was heart wrenching. it dragged a little after that but i still liked and who'da thunk samuel l. jackson would star in a movie about a violin?
Jadey I walked in on my mom all teary-eyed and shit watching that...
I was just like "nevermind," turned around and walked out. Looked like intense PMS material to me, lol.
never heard of that one but i loved "a walk in the clouds"
funny, keanu stars in two of my fave movies.
EXCELLENT!

^pic too large.
If love were a movie, the love of your life would be...
The Lakehouse is the first movie that comes to mind. I snotted up so much at the end.
^when he goes to meet her "in the past" and they dance and it's soooooooooooooooo sweet and sensual and OMG!, i'm tearing up just thinkin bout it.
your turn...
