What a piece of shit. This just ruined my fucking morning. She was my age. Just getting started with life. 😢
Get the story, no matter what the cost.....That's what the journalist world believes.
It's really sad, though, I feel for their families. They were just doing their jobs.
Wonder why the shooter targeted them?
It's unfortunate, but that's why the government is trying to get more control over people.
They already can see what we say on the internet, phone, and put camaras in everything. And you know what? At this point I'm glad they do.
A few people in my own town I went to school with got arrested for saying crazy stuff about politicians just the other day.
Breaking update:
Authorities say they are looking for former WDBJ employee Vester L. Flanagan, who is driving a 2009 Grey Mustang, according to the Augusta County, Virginia, sheriff’s department representative. The representative said they are looking for Flanagan in connection with Wednesday’s killing of two WDBJ journalists, but stopped short of calling him a suspect.
Flanagan worked at WDBJ as a reporter about a year using the on-air name Bryce Williams. The former employee said Flanagan was fired from the station, though the reason for the firing was not made public. A law enforcement source briefed on the search said it is believed that Flanagan is still in the Virginia area.
The man suspected of killing two WDBJ7 employees Wednesday morning killed himself on I-66 in Faquier County, according to state police.
The suspected shooter has been identified as Vester Lee Flanigan, also known as Bryce Williams.
He is a former WDBJ7 employee.
Earlier Wednesday, state police released this picture of the suspected shooter.
Flanigan killed himself near mile marker 17 on I-66 around 11:25 a.m. Wednesday.
Flanagan, whose TV name is Bryce Williams and was employed by WDBJ7, began tweeting Wednesday at 11:09 a.m. ET about the incident. Flanagan tweeted that Parker made racist comments and that he filed an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission report. He also tweeted that Ward went to human resources on him "after working with me one time!!!"

He apparently did it because he had some complaint against the female reporter over racial statements made by her, and did not feel they were properly addressed by the stations personel department. Racial statements, from his apparently "warped" perspective. Actions on his part got him fired, so he did this.Probably another product of the rainbow coalition, or other government program, to help unqualified minorites get hired in positions they had no business being hired for. Another example of the heightened racial tensions fomented by the "man of color" commander in chief that said he was going to racially heal the country. They have done the exact opposite. Nice work progressives - way to take control. These people couldn't manage their way out of a proverbial paper bag, let alone administer over affairs of the USA.

But the former employer gave an interesting interview.
Flanagan, 41, who also used the name Bryce Williams, was employed at WDBJ between 2012 and 2013 as a multimedia journalist, the station’s general manager, Jeff Marks, said on Wednesday.
Speaking Wednesday on air, his former WDBJ colleagues said that Bryce Williams was the name he used on television.
“Vester was an unhappy man. We employed him as a reporter and he had some talent in that respect and some experience,” Marks said. “He quickly gathered a reputation of someone who was difficult to work with. He was sort of looking out to people to say things he could take offense to. Eventually, after many incidents of his anger, we dismissed him. He did not take that well. We had to call police to escort him from the building.”
Marks said he believed that Flanagan fabricated complaints of racial discrimination at the station, saying they could not be corroborated by anyone at WDBJ.

Man, I had a Libra coworker like him. He creeped everyone the fuck out. He finally got fired and then tried to con one of the dumb girls up front to give him the employee phone list so he could sue the company and who knows what else with our phone numbers.
But he was one of those types that used his race as a cover up to get away with shit. Ex: being lazy as fuck, doing things all fucked up on purpose, etc. Trying to get fired on purpose, then pulling out the race card. It was an amazing thing to witness...

Two US journalists have been shot dead during a live TV report in the state of Virginia, their employer has confirmed.
WDBJ7 TV reporter Alison Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27, were killed during an interview in Moneta, Bedford County, the TV station said.
During the live broadcast, shots could be heard, sending the reporter and the woman she was interviewing running.
