A lot of people have no problem judging with their *feelings* that have been engineered by the media over actual FACTS.

Many of which the media was not privy to.

The leftists defending trash like Martin are typically the same ones who advocate for murderers like OJ Simpson and other sordid trash. They are inherently attracted to defend garbage, amd attack that ehich is good.

Their heads are completely backwards in cases such as this one.

God only knows what a 40+ year old white woman likeElle would do if a shady black male with a criminal record was marauding around in her backyard at night. She would probably wish him away, hahaha.

Around 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 26, Trayvon Martin left his father's girlfriend's house at the Retreat at Twin Lakes...

From USAToday:

NBC producer fired over Zimmerman 911 call

NEW YORK (AP) — NBC News has fired a producer for editing a recording of George Zimmerman's call to police the night he shot Trayvon Martin, a person with direct knowledge of the matter said Saturday.

The producer's dismissal followed an internal investigation that led to NBC apologizing for having aired the misleading audio.

This is *also* from HuffPo; it was published a week or two later:

NBC Miami WTVJ Reporter, Fired Over Edited George Zimmerman 911 Call

Posted: 04/25/2012 6:54 pm

Updated: 04/26/2012 8:13 pm

A veteran NBC Miami reporter has been fired in the ongoing probe over an edited "Today" show clip of George Zimmerman's 911 call, placed moments before Zimmerman shot unarmed teen Trayvon Martin.

Jeff Burnside was dismissed from network-owned NBC Miami (WTVJ) over a similarly edited clip on Friday, as first reported by South Florida news blog SFLTV.

According to the Miami Herald, two unidentified employees were also disciplined.

The point:

There has been a great deal of misdirection surrounding this case.

Why? Sensationalism sells, and reporters potentially stand to be rewarded (with Emmys, no less) for their coverage.

If you think the coverage had anything to do with justice being served, you would be mistaken.

Some dude on this thread thinks that the legal system is fair ... I'll have to go back to see who it was .... but, what a crock of shit.

Lawyers are crooked muther fukers ..... they make up the majority of our politicians.

:::: shakes head ::::

Niether of M or Z's peers are 100% female. to be fair, the jury should have been a mix of gender, class and race.

Of course, though, we only know what the media has told us ..... which they also tell us that justice is fair.

Zimmerman isn't even white! He's hispanic and they share the brunt or racism. What are you talking about? For sure, Martin shouldn't have been shot, but when you go out looking for trouble, EXPECT trouble. You say Martin is a kid, well if he was a kid, he should have been home with his parents.

EVERYONE knows that OJ WAS guilty but the RACE card got him off.

The fact is Zimmerman was looking for trouble too. He got told not to pursue and he did anyway. Then a confrontation ensued and someone ended up dead.

That is manslaughter 101 folks. No disputing the prosecution and media is stupid as fuck. Regardless the law is the law and manslaughter charges should be brought up too. No stand your ground law should work if you too are pursuing the confrontation.

It was manslaughter regardless of color. But if the colors were reversed you're damn straight a conviction would be in the bag. Cuz it wouldnt be no celebrity football player.

WHY he was not arrested initially:

The answer is that U. S. Constitution and Florida law specifically forbade his arrest.

Florida law states clearly that when self-defense is asserted, an arrest can be made only if the agency determines that there is probable cause that the force used was unlawful. Absent probable cause, the arresting parties would be committing a crime against Mr. Zimmerman. Probable cause requires facts and/or evidence that would lead a reasonable person to believe the suspect committed a crime.

So from the police perspective on the night in question, they have the following facts at hand:

1. A resident calls police to report a suspicous person, asks for police to respond to his location.

2. Numerous 911 calls come in reporting screaming, fighting, and then shots fired from the same area.

3. When they come upon the scene, Mr. Zimmerman asserts he was attacked and defended himself. He obeys all police commands and never waivers from asserting he defended himself against Mr. Martin.

4. No witness contradicts Mr. Zimmerman's story, and multiple witness accounts confirm George Zimmerman's account that he was attacked by Mr. Martin.

5. No physical evidence exists to contradict Mr. Zimmerman's explanation, and multiple items of physical evidence support it.

How, while respecting the rule of law and our Constitutional protections from arrest without probable cause, could the police make an arrest?

Citizens should not bear the burden of arrest, much less prosecution for crime if the state cannot produce probable cause that they actually committed a crime.

There is no reason Mr. Zimmerman could not be arrested at any moment after he was released if evidence was developed or discovered to indicate he did commit a crime. His release was not a good forever bill of innocence. As the autopsy report (still secret as of this writing), ballistics, powder burn, and DNA testing are completed, compiled, and compared against Mr. Zimmerman's statements and already collected evidence there might very well be legally sufficient cause to arrest Mr. Zimmerman. There wasn't such cause on the night of Feb. 26 though and we should all be happy the police actually followed the law.

Too often the police do not respect citizens' Constitutionally protected rights, and very often Black people are the victims of such malfeasance. Disproportionally so. Given our history, Black Americans should be especia

Zimmerman is a Jewxican. His father was a judge and got him off of a lot of charges already. Even if he is half latino(Peruvian) he has the Hebrew advantage.

JEWXICAN?

lol

Did you make that up yourself?

You know, it's very difficult to take someone seriously, when on the one hand-- they cry bitterly that blacks are unfairly burdened with blame--

But they turn around and unfairly burden the Jews with said blame, instead.

Or in this case, the "Jewxicans"-- whatever the fuck that's supposed to mean.

I understand what you're saying here, and if one was going to assume a charge against Zimmerman, that would be it.

Involuntary Manslaughter

But absent *all* the details, which we haven't been privy to, and certainly no thanks to the "stupid as fuck" media, it is still unfair to level a charge, at this point imo.

That's what the trial is for.

I have not spoken to one Black person on trial for anything whose race got them off. It worked the other way around. After all, most Black men are criminals anyway. This is what Trayvon Martin gets for "not being at home with his parents", walking down the street wearing a hooded sweat shirt. He was clearly casing places to rob. I mean WHAT Black young man walks down the street to ONLY get home!?!? He deserved this. He's no kid!!! He's was a thug and he got just what he deserved. Even though he was not known to act in deviant ways. His race trumps that. Bang bang your'e dead.

SMH.

If you read some of the stuff online written by "dem people" It's fckin scary. A lot of white people really think trayvon was a goon with a pistol smoking weed, snorting coke lookin for a lick. It's really disgusting.

LOL! This is precisely why I do not walk at night in this God forsaken little midwestern town I now reside. Ignorance can be dangerous. In fact, it more than likely cost Martin his life. SMH. Very scary indeed.

People do not understand that being racist and being prejudice are not one in the same. A person will argue they are not racist, but say "well if he's a little kid he should have been at his parents house." As if that is justification for being murdered. Or, "he was clearly looking for a houses to rob." Racist comments? Maybe, maybe not. Prejudice comments? TO. THE. FREAKING. CORE!

Sometimes being prejudice can be just as harmful as b

Strongly disagree. I followed the OJ case from A-Z. Yes, my gut instinct says that he was certainly guilty. But if I had been a juror, I would have let him off too because the evidence did not prove him guilty "beyond the shadow of a doubt". The jury was clearly told that the conviction had to be based on "no doubt" and evidence. These criteria were not met. So OJ walked. It had nothing to do with the race card IMO.

Again, you disagree?! LOL

Well, I disagree with you too. I am too tired to dig up all that old crap and prove a point... maybe some other time 😛
