On the Nasty Astrology, for flips sakes it's a JOKE. It blazes all 12 signs across the zodiac and I'm posting it because it's amusing and I thought I'd share. Getting miffed is just silly.

Ditto, Taurus is spot on for the most part. But I left no one out, I marched clean across the board. 😉 All done with the usual smattering of Taurean tact I might add. Next to none.

I did wonder if the man got burnt royally by a Libra, sure seems that way. And Aries I laughed at because I'm a cusp, so I get a double whammy on the ol' astrology wheel.

I like honesty as well. And my sense of humor is off the map sometimes so I think poking fun at things is just flat out funny. Most everyone here has been a good sport about it, only 2-3 got truly offended. 🙂

LOL Me too. And I'm enough of a dingbat at times that I feel like erupting in laughter when everyone around me is somber and serious.

LOL I get those looks too, then think "MEH! I'm warped, but never boring!" Have these internal conversations in your head and crack yourself up from time to time, that's bad. But I do so adore good conversation. 😉

Perhaps not Jade, but I am not the author, nor did I intend for anyone to get really offended. We're all adults here who have left the playground behind. There is good and bad in everyone, just posting all sweetness and positive attributes is nice ( who doesn't want to feel puffed up and good about themselves/their sign ), but so not realistic. I also have "How To Spot a Bastard by Their Star Sign", but that one might really cheese people off.

The purpose was for a smile, or a laugh. Nothing more. Most took it as the joke it IS, as is what the author intended as well I'm sure. It's to poke fun at everyone in general. I never, in my LIFE, have set out to anger or intentionally hurt anyone. Nor was what was posted intended to do either. Perhaps my sense of humor is different than some peoples, so be it. But if we can't laugh at ourselves then I honestly believe that's sad.
May I reiterate again, that I have no hidden agenda. If I wanted to lower myself to childish behavior like that, would I not have just posted a particular sign? NO, I posted all twelve. Quite frankly I bear no ill will towards anyone in the entire human race unless they attack me without provocation, threaten me or mine, or screw me over in some fashion. Then it would be game on.

I actually think the Bastard by Sun sign is more right on and less antagonist. I was not offended by it or you...how could I be when you didn't even write it? I just didn't agree with all it had to say...that's normal though.

I cut and pasted nothing madam. I typed it all out, and yes, I read the entire thing before I poked it up there. I don't understand the negative reactions because in my opinion laughing at yourself is healthy. And if anyone got pissed off it's because something cut too close to home. To state that no one has negative attributes is ludicrous. You have a good day as well.

Not successful for you at any rate. And why must I keep saying that I did not write this book? Apparently a whole lot of people must have enjoyed it if it's sold and in circulation.

With the Bastard By Sun sign one, I thought it was more clever. Like it made all of our bad traits look funny, yet honest at the same time.

Yes, this one won't win the Pulitzer by any means. It's along the same lines, but the writing style is far better in the "How To....".

LOL On my days off I have a lot of time on my hands. When I work I get up at 4 a.m., am on the clock at 5 being a caregiver till 3 p.m. Then, just for kicks I cook at the local restaurant till 10 p.m. Then I get to get up and do it all over again.

So, I know I'm going to step right into this one, but I've been reading the other's and they seem way less harsh than the Aries. This author REALLY hates us! Some Ram girl must have really fucked him up!

Not a darned clue ram. I tap in his name and all I come up with are links to purchasing the book. Nothing about the man himself. 😢 The intro on the sleeve is of no help either. I wondered about the Aries too. And since I'm a cusp, that one pops me as well. Aries and Libra seem the worst of the 12 for some reason, maybe he got royally fucked by both?

Apparently this gentleman has over 50 books published and has written astrology columns for business web pages and magazine articles. Says he resides in Devon, UK. Maybe I should get "The 7 Bad Habits of Highly Ineffective People" or "How To Behave In Bed" next just for shits and giggles. 😉

I actually really enjoyed reading them and laughing! It's all just for fun. Some of it did hit home on the Pisces front. It doesn't mean that we are exactly like that and we may have BEEN like it at some point but we are still people that can grow and change. It sure didn't flatter Pisces but that's okay because we are also molded by other influences and the actual choices we make so I am not going to assume when I meet one of the signs that is how they are. I was actually encouraging you to post the Pisces one just so that I could laugh and see how close some of the things would come to us.
We are imperfect people and not a one of us is without faults whether the faults were actually listed in these blurbs or are others that weren't.
You didn't write the stuff anyways so don't even worry about it. We all may post something that offends another especially when it comes to humor b/c we all have different opinions of what humor is.
People that were really offended let's just forgive and go on. It was just done for fun and not one sign was left our. If some seamed harsher to others then blame that on the author of the book. I saw bad things in all of them myself but didn't take it as gospel b/c it wasn't meant for that!
Hang in there venusianbull and know that people will get over it especially since you did share that your intent was not malicious but merely so that others could have a laugh! 😉
