If we ignore it, we become desensitized to it and people will just think the behaviour is okay.

It will become normal to be an idiot.

Personally, I dont want it to be okay to be an idiot.

It dumbs down the entire US population and makes us complacent.

Since then being stupid considered cute. Unreversable.

We already are desensitized and many think there will be no consequences if you act like this cause he apparently is still in power.

I am not happy that the headlines about him overshadow ctucial topics.

I will say that most news media programs tend to focus on the pointless parts of Trump's presidency over the important parts more often than not. However no his behavior should not be ignored. He is not just your racist uncle you see every so often. He is the president of the United States and is the most powerful political force we have...unfortunately.

I just wish the media would be more critical about his behavior. They may bring up something he said but most of the time they'll never use specific labels like "racist" or "incompetent" when that's obviously what he is.

Maybe they need to change something. There is no consequence for him. Labeling him incompetent or pointing in great detail the consequences such as being embarassed by him would chamge the debate.

But they won't. They don't want to upset his base which is funny cause his base doesn't watch those news outlets. They aim to be objective and neutral. Which in some ways is good but at other times it's ridiculous and makes them come across as idiotic.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it's probably a duck and not a squirrel in a duck costume.
