Why do Democrats hate free speech
Im tired of online democrats! Specifically on twitter.
And I say democrats specifically because if someone associates as democrat theyre not really liberal as the democratic party is moderate
But on twitter all they do is get offended by everything someone says. And while some things have rationality there has got to be a line drawn of what is really sooo offensive that the person then has to be attacked by these said fake liberals.
Its like they always have to cry bully, but then turn around and try and ruin someones life as if its not bullying?

They are also not doing so as much as they should. Instead it feels like both parties continue to get more and more extreme even when they know they shouldnt, but instead want to be a niche party where there are now as many independent voters than both parties combined thank god.

What annoyed me specifically today was a podcast I listen to which is not even political its pop culture, basically getting pulled because in it they do like to make fun of people. Well one guy, a democrat, got upset when the podcast made fun of a video he posted and said his gf was getting death threats because of it and that the host incited the threats which never happened they just made fun of the video. So the democrat had all his followers message the podcast site and thus the show gets in trouble because now everything is guilty until proven innocent because of shit like this

Like the pro hillary crowd white people who hated anything not hillary and still to this day will attack Elizabeth Warren because god forbid she has told truths about hillary

For me I really wish everyone would stop talking or expressing amd mind their own business for once. Withdrawl from having a solid opinion or thought. Sit back and just stop paying attention. Focous on more meaningful things in life. Like your own mental stability or hell, even personal hobbies. I've been trying something new lately, and won't even pretend like I've perfected it yet, but I've gotten much better. Its called hearing all the crazy opinions, emotional outburst, and the cult of outrage and even though it might bother me or even offend me i just ignore it and focus on something that makes me happy. Because in the end its a fire I will never put out, and will only end up fueling it. Rather then giving these people the bullets for their own weapon to use against me and everyone else I just take no part in it. Rather then getting involved and looking like the same moron as everyone else I can look at the issue from my own quiet personal perspective, and actually formulate something logical. Issues are always solved better with a calm state of mind.
All these problems with the world are because everyone is focused on trying to persuade everyone else rather then their own mental stability and personal progression as a logical thinking human. I never understood why people think they can change others when they can't even change themselves. Because of this no one can clearly see how counterintuitive and hypocritical their deep opinions are. Yet they feel like its the right choice. Its because they lack the calm yet strong logical mind of being able to keep quiet and mind their own business. You dont have to keep opinions to yourself, and you dont have to change the way you think for the sake of someones feelings. You should just know to keep quiet and mind your own to prove you have a bit of respect for the sake of other people.

Its counterintuitive though. Gaurenteeyou could name any solution to any problem, and i will prove how nothing except pure war or murder will solve it. Then how both war amd murder will just lead everyone back to the same problem.
Its fun to think about, but 100% of everything in this world we exist in is a double ended sword where no problem will ever be solved. I feel like i could flawlessly prove it too. My point is people focus their efforts in the wrong areas, where only action even close to a solution would be people changing themselvesand focusing on their own personal growth. Which I can also prove as counterintuitive and double ended.

I know... but it makes me feel hopeful, a bit less depressed, and a bit more positive. So at the least even if it is just illusions it makes me want to spread less toxicity to others. Which means I'm less of a problem to everyone as a whole.

I have to agree with sniper, these sound like ridiculous sjw. The same ones that don't want conservative speakers to give speeches at colleges. Also, this fuels the idiots on the extreme right "see how all Liberals are?" and cuts down on any useful dialogue we may have. Everything gets reduced to soundbites and dog whistles, producing the toxic political landscape we have today.I think it's important to keep in mind both sides are made up of coalitions. I agree. I don't feel like we have real free speech in America anymore. Everything every one says is going to offend someone, anyone. In some instances, words can get you arrested.And you can't say something that will offend someone! Lord knows what happens. They sit there offended, I guess, and nothing else.

Maybe I should rephrase. I'll also admit I started to get a bit cynical again in my last post. I'll try to keep a level state of mind.
I don't mean take the complete passive path. One where someone just sits back and watches the world burn. Thats just as bad as those starting the fire in the first place right? I don't mean do nothing, but rather do something else. What you see in todays society are two forces unwilling to budge for one another. Its a waste of time and effort for both. A stalemate. Though people don't see it like that. They honestly belive their one opinion will change the mind of billions. Its simply impossible. So rather then sit for entire lifetime trying to change what looks obvious, why not change the things that don't seem obvious? Like ourselves? Theres a thought lol. Like trying to be more positive while keeping a level head in intense social situations. Being respectful while not helping the disgruntled spread toxicity. Stop pointing fingers and think of ways to improve the world and make everyone happy as a whole rather then just yourself. I'll be honest I tried a tip from someone that seems corny but it actually helps me keep a bit of happiness. I set an alarm on my phone for 12pm every day to send me a notifications that says "How can I make this more positive and fun?" So no matter what im doing at that time the thought is going into my head to think of ways I can improve the moment. It's not going to fix the world, but at least you aren't helping spread the fire while also not siting back with your eyes closed and your hands over your ears.
