i looked through that video and there were two others, one is Matthew Todd Miller who is an English Teacher sentenced i think six years? but only got two years.

edit --- i rechecked, he only got 8 months, instead. the hard labour he went through was agriculture....digging and digging.

i wonder...cause his virgo sun/virgo mars libra venus/merc can help him through that ordeal.

and the poor Sagittarius young man, with the aries moon, sag jupiter, sag merc, and scorpio venus conjunct scorpio pluto, he was all fire, and water basically. it would be so hard for him.

they said in the papers he died of lack of oxygen /brain damage, and was in a coma.

he could have tried very hard to take his own life, by suffocation, or attempting to, or someone had tried to strangulate him, causing the lack of oxygen. all speculations but the entire tihng is just so horrible.

I heard Tod Miller was "sentenced 6 yrs from committing hostile acts but served only just for 2 months".

Looking at two other detained prisoners; Kenneth Bay who was "sentenced for 15 yrs for attempting to overthrow the government but succeeded to get a release in less than 2 yrs" and Tod Miller's case of hard labor, I think the dude bitching in the video can at least don't get too paranoid and just work hard to it, redeem himself instead of whining.

As far as how you see them from astro pov. It may make sense for Tod Miller to act like that, however I checked out the link of his wikipedia, it seemed the reason he was so good going through the ordeal was because he could find benefits from the situation?

"After returning to the U.S., Miller told reporters he traveled to North Korea intending to get arrested, stating that "My main fear was that they would not arrest me when I arrived". Initially North Korean authorities had refused to arrest him and sought to return him on the next flight, but Miller refused."

Sentenced due to hostile act .... hm..

this is a young man who seemed clearly ..welll spoiled by his upper middle class family.

to experience harshness and cruelty of life at an early age will shape a person to make a person harder and go through the suffering and sorrow with a strength that will keep him alive.

this guy, i do feel sorry for him, because he is like many millions of young men and women who have idealistic views of politics and their hearts may be in the right place, their actions does have consquences and he may have in his upbringing weren't given too harsh punishments. i have no idea, just speculating of course.

i dont believe chidlren should be harshly punished but to show them that there is harshness and cruelty existing in the world and should always be warned and shown that these things exist and they will die if they aren't careful.

anyway i'm glad they cancelled the touring to north korea, people should not be going there, especially young idealistic men and women.

No one should be encouraging tourism to unstable or troubled regions of the world. There is no excuse for what happened to him. Tragic.

And anyone who says it's to do with being tough. ETC. They wanted to make sure he didn't live.

Many many north Koreans die this way. He was targeted BECAUSE he was an American. He was used as a weapon.

Anyone traveling abroad should know if they will be in danger.

There should be international laws protecting tourists and more transparency required from travel agents.

The company has cancelled all tours from America.

It seems so pointless. I think he was naive. I don't believe he took the poster not for a minute. I think he was just naive to go over there esp as an American.

I feel sorry for the Koreans living under this regime. Remember many will be subjected to same treatment.
