Powder Alcohol

Anyone hear about this yet? What are your opinions??

I think alcohol (though I occasionally drink) is bad enough let alone in powder form.

You know as well as me kids will be snorting it, putting it up their ass, and dying from it in no time.

I probably wouldn't take it lol.

Something about alcohol being a form of control is scary. Put it in a compact powder form it becomes even worse.

When I was in high school the news was all about collage kids dousing tampons in alcohol then putting it in obscene places to get absolutely hammered but not have alcohol on their breath.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it can even fool an alcohol breath test the cops use.

Only problem is the alcohol doesn't go through your stomach, so it straight up poisons the blood resulting in death.

I feel the powder will be even worse. That much alcohol concentrated in such a fine powder just sounds off in my opinion.

If your going to snort drugs, at least pay us and snort our drugs. You will become just as addicted, controlled, and die just like any other drug, except with this one we make your money while you die! (insert evil laugh here)

Seems like a really, really bad idea to me.

Hell...instead of spiking a womans drink with roofies...all they have to do is mix it into the palcohol for that extra affect.

If you know anything about drugs any type of powder will kill you within minutes if you take too much. What does the drug alcohol make you want to do? Drink more alcohol. It's like coke except almost worse in my opinion. Coke brings you up and make you hyper. You have less control because your all hyped up on drugs. Alcohol brings you down and makes you lose all use of the body and instinctive logic. Yet both drugs demand you take more and more to calm the demon you've unleashed.

Like it was mentioned, this is an all around bad idea. I don't believe the government is dumb enough to think it's a good thing, which proves they are again using dumb young kids to test their weird experiments.

I guarantee no alcoholic is smart enough to responsibly use this drug. If they were, they certainly won't be after they take it.

I agree fully, and prefer alcohol to be as natural as possible. Like I said there has to be a deeper reason why they would even allow this to go on shelves.

Killing off dumb irresponsible people maybe? Testing a hidden chemical within the substance? Maybe even a stronger form of population control?

Who knows what the real reason is. I sure as hell know it isn't for a few people to drink and socialize, because we already have normal alcohol for that.

That's what makes me feel it's specifically made to target young dumb kids. Just like tobacco, alcohol, or any other controlling drug made by man.

Yea we know that. You think collage kids or high school kids will know any better though? Expecially once their drunk.

I'll definitely try it. If they could also engineer it to get rid of the nasty taste, that would be extra sick.

This does make me feel a bit better about the whole situation. I guess only time will tell. I'm expecting the worse but hoping for the best.

Alcohol and GHB have similarities in chemistry and effect.

I wasn't even thinking about the date rape part tbh, only the recreational. Taking drinks from strangers is just fucking stupid. I've seen people at parties/clubs who took GHB, and went from speaking and acting normally to slumped over and unconscious. It's because the line between recreational and knock-out dose is so slim.

I imagine being able to control the potency of your alcoholic beverage will have the same effects, especially when mixed with only a small amount of water. From normal to passed out in minutes.

God, it would be so sick if the nasty taste could be removed. That would be like the best product ever.

What makes you think a kid who sniffs ibuprophen, pain killers, magic markers, spray paint, moth balls etc...won't sniff a little packet of powdered booze?

We've all been educated that it's suppose to be mixed with water. The fear is KIDS snorting it and the ease of abusing it.

The latest snorting abuse by kids is crushing the candy "Smarties"....

what makes you think that wasn't already addressed? keep up lib, its irrelevant if kids want to snort it because that's not how it works. they might as well snort chili pepper; they'll get just as intoxicated.

it's much better that they snort this powder than they snort any of the things you listed... besides maybe moth balls.

whether they TRY to abuse it and actually CAN abuse it are two different things.

This is why I asked for opinions hoping to get both sides of the story.

You make good points, but only time will tell if it can be abused or not. We haven't even seen the substance hit the shelf yet.

I agree.

In my opinion liquor take terrible anyway. I imagine this substance would taste even worse.

It just seems like something is off about it.
