I'm a non-essential and live in NYC so fml right now -.-

Quarantine Day 1

Yay! No work next week!

Quarantine Day 2

*adds finishing touches to dxp Mafia game*

Quarantine Day 3

*goes shopping at drugstore & sees empty cleaning supplies shelves*

LOL @ filthy hoarders suddenly becoming neat-freaks

Quarantine Day 4

*goes grocery shopping*

I've never seen so many street-spitters in my life. I don't know if it's because I'm more aware now? But I swear I saw 3 men spit in the street on my way to the grocery store 1/2 a block away.

I started crushing on Governor Cuomo : /

What has quarantine been like for you?

I've basically been in quarantine at home with a broken arm for 2 months

But will be returning to work at a grocery store.

Sucks for the customers tho because they will only get 1 sack of potatoes on my watch. Maybe even only 1 box of poptarts too.

Luckily, we don't have a potato shortage here (yet). I made baked garlic and herb chicken with baked potatoes last night and it was delicious.

I'll trade you for Pop Tarts tho...

I'm in.

Its honestly been kind of normal for me. Seeing all the people around me scared and in a weird surreal state of reality where they wish they could get off the ride, and wish it all would just stop and go back to being normal again is how I always feel anyway. Actually I'm getting kind of sick of if. People really need to get off my isolated reclusive level and leave my world alone. Things really need to go back to being normal, and people need to stop feeling so stressed and anxious so I can have my shitty personal space back. They can't have the same excuses for being fucked up and weird unless they earn it like the rest of us.

I've been working from home since early February.

I still go in 2-3 times a week after lunchtime to check mail, do odds and ends in the office, but I always leave before rush hour starts at 5pm.

Otherwise it's work at home. Only other places I go are the supermarkets, or the bank.

It's driving me insane.

I live in NY too. Been working from home since last Thursday. Over a week. The new normal has set in. It hasn’t been bad, just ready to get out of my apartment!!!

I'm just venturing out to get food. Luckily I've a lovely garden so can have the patio doors open when it's a nice day and let the sunshine in. I can also go for a walk near the sea

I've enrolled on two online courses ... numerology and how to play piano and i read a lot so not feeling too bored. It's a great opportunity to study new subjects

I’ve decided to dump my office tho to lower overhead. Idk what the future looks like and if work is gonna slow down. But I’d rather keep employees around that I’ve invested years training for as long as possible. I can always find another four walls and a roof easily in the future.

My project came to a screeching halt. Everyone was ordered to leave with no return date in site. I’ve been doing a little consulting work on the side.

Hopefully it doesn't involve simple math.

To be fair, it's technically my 2nd week in quarantine also : /

Last week it was optional so I stayed home last week too. This week was mandatory and I'm getting cabin fever -.- But bored... I am not.

Quarantine Day 6 (or 65 or whatever)
