Never worked for me for longer than 48 hours. That's for how long I was able to more or less convince my brain that I wasn't really in love with my Virgo demigod. Met another guy who was cute (but still didn't compare). Thought it had a bit of potential but the interest didn't last for longer than 48 hours.
Once those 48 hours passed.........my original feelings came back with a vengeance and kicked my bitch ass. Never tried it again.

That's what I'm afraid of.
I miss that feeling of being in love
But I can't imagine having it with anyone else.

Doesn't work if you're emotionally attach to the person you were previous with.
I have to break that attachment but I'm not sure how.
I get angry and then I hear about how bad he's doing and my heart melts and I feel sorry for him.
I need to stop that!

A superficial little get together will never replace the real thing. Certain people will always have our hearts, we can pretend, but deep down we'll always know the truth, and so will the other person.

They say that the best way to get over someone is to get under someone new.
Does it help break the attachment? Whenever I start talking to someone new it never goes anywhere because I feel guilty and shut it down.
Has anyone ever successfully gotten over someone with a rebound?
